I cleaned up the iacv and the code 14 went away and now it idles fine but still blowing lots of white smoke, it doesn’t smell sweet or anything but it does smell a lot like gas obviously

Go drive it around and clear it out, that happens when you clean your IACV/Throttle boddy/MAF etc

I’m scared to even let it run lol just in case it’s like a blown gasket or something like that because it was just fine yesterday when I drove it an hour and a half away and then an hour half back home

Easy check for blown head gasket; with the car off, remove radiator cap, if it’s low, top it off. Start car, watch coolant. It’ll bubble pretty hard if the HG is blown. There’s probably a hundred videos on YT

It bubbled but I think it was more bc I didn’t bleed the radiator after removing the iacv multiple times and spilling a bit some other ways as well, it bubbled a bit with the heater on and when I rev the engine it bubbled a bit but eventually stopped and I was told to close the cap and let it build some pressure and see if the hoses get super firm and if they did that it was a bad sign…..well they never got that firm

Yea bubbling on start up or when you are bleeding it is fine. Also the coolant will have brown swirls or start to turn into a Wendy’s frosty

Yeah no the coolant and oil both are clean

What do the plugs look like?
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
It was smoking when I was troubleshooting before I ever took it off to clean it
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
It started before I cleaned it and got the code to go away

You're burning oil. You somehow have oil inside your engine.
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
And what does that necessarily mean
euMonke@reddit
That oil is somehow leaking into the combusting chamber. Leaking seal somewhere.
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
It’s not smoking anymore
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
Now that it’s warm and shit
euMonke@reddit
It might start again when it's cold, stuff expands in heat sealing the leak.

A couple people including my Mechanic friend I know are saying it seems like a bad head gasket
Purple-Nature-5822@reddit (OP)
OK how do I figure out where it’s coming from
