Hi - I'm a bit of a car guy & I'd love to find one of those scrapyards where you can just turn up with a toolbox and pull parts off cars for your own projects.

Do they still exist? I'm in the Thames Valley / M4 corridor area and all the scrapyards around here - and there are 5 within 3 miles of me - do not allow people to enter and most only sell parts online at typical eBay / new prices.

Do any of the classic sort remain? Anyone know any that I could visit?
