This was dumped on our property. Any ideas what to do with a semi?

Old iron is getting more and more scarce. That one looks like it's still in one piece more or less. Were it me I'd try like hell to get a legitimate title for it and sell it whole. Depending on a whole lot of factors you could have a cool $20k ish+ sitting there. Parting it out yourself is gonna be a bitch if you don't have the big tools already.

Any opinion on what it would take to get it running?

Bring a couple big ass batteries and maybe 10 gallons of diesel. Whether two or four to start I couldn't say. Basic tools and a multimeter because there's no chance they left the keys with it so you'll be hotwiring it.
Pull the dipstick before trying to see if it's out of oil or making oil, get access to the front of the turbo in case of runaway and bring a board big enough to easily cover the turbo inlet.
It probably doesn't need much of anything to run so long as it hasn't been cannibalized. What it'd need to go work and make money is another story entirely.

Take it apart and sell it piece by piece. You've got some money there.

We shall see how it unfolds over the next 24 hours. I have a '05 Hummer H2 project and a '21 Subaru Crosstrek BTW.

Extend the frame and turn it into an RV
TBFP_BOT@reddit
Cut the frame to just a single rear axle and build a drag truck.

Get the VIN and any other info you can off it, call the police non-emergency number, and see if it was reported stolen.
Looks like that JRT Inc has been out of business since 2018: https://loadconnect.io/trucking/897075

Already did that. Police made some calls and said if JRT doesn't come get it in like 2 days, we can do whatever. Also this was dumped across state lines so makes you wonder...
