Dear-Unit1666@reddit
Wtf is that a grenade launcher or rail gun?
Just-Buy-A-Home@reddit
It’s a shotgun prototype, pancor jackhammer
Dear-Unit1666@reddit
Ahhh fuck thanks, just what I need to Google at 1:11 am lol ....I vaaaguly remember this from something but no clue what, prob an episode of forgotten weapons lol
belwoo00dom@reddit
American 180, I just want to feel the power, or lack there of, of full auto 22 going at RPM Ridiculous down range
Useless_Fox@reddit
Depending on where you live, you might be able to get a 22lr AR with a forced reset trigger. It won't be exactly the same but you're 90% of the way there.
belwoo00dom@reddit
Northern Irish unfortunately, we’re not so much trusted with guns after….you know what
Acceptable-Face-3707@reddit
My SS single handily killed any interest i had in buying a machine gun but thats a good thing it will save me thousands of dollars!
BoarHide@reddit
The SS single handedly killed a lot of things…
MentalRain619@reddit
I wouldn't say single handedly, I mean there was a whole country involved in that
Acceptable-Face-3707@reddit
Whole lotta countries. The eastern bloc really hated the Russians, and they still do lol.
ErwinHolland1991@reddit
I'm a little bit crazy about that one too.
I imagine the lack of firepower, is made up by the firepower. Lol.
Sure a 22 is relatively low power, but If you can stack 20 of them on top of each other in .2 seconds... I bet it does a hell of a lot of damage.
Zuimei@reddit
A single .22 may be diddly squat, but with that volume that’s a whole lotta diddly
belwoo00dom@reddit
We all love a hole load from diddy
ninjast4r@reddit

Someone linked a dual 180, so 360 I guess, that someone made on here a few years ago. https://reddit.com/r/ForgottenWeapons/comments/11it7kz/dual_mounted_american_180s/
Fun for 12 seconds, then about an hour reloading the thing.

It's just a picture, not video of it in action, but someone posted a quad mount in that thread as well.

IlluminatedPickle@reddit
Oh I forgot the Charlton.
Waiter, I'll take 3.
StonewallSoyah@reddit
XM8. Should have been available to civilians. There was so much hype around that weapon that people would have loved it. Especially now that people who grew up with it in media and video games are in the purchasing age group.

LJohnD@reddit
With as much a games love their gimmicks for their weapons, I'm surprised none ever implemented the planned feature of the Jackhammer that it's magazines could be rigged to act as landmines, with a firing pin under every shell.
AKMike99@reddit
It got added to COD BO6 as the Maelstrom
RoneliKaneli@reddit
I can never not connect the Jackhammer to BF2 engineer class.

alexlongfur@reddit
M1928 Thompson.
I had a reproduction 1927a1 but sold it. Reasons:
It didn’t have the Blisch locking mechanism.
It was closed-bolt.
The rear ladder sight was flimsy.
It fed poorly, especially out of GI mags that had been recut to go into the semi autos (magazine catch is 3/8” higher in the magazine well than on full autos).
The $400 reproduction 50rd drum had a really weak clock spring and had to be rewound halfway through its use.
Def-Not-JTAC@reddit
The 1928a1 is my ultimate dream gun. I used to only like the m1a1 model till I shot all of the variants two years ago. The blisch & cuts comp are a legit match made in heaven
Def-Not-JTAC@reddit
Probably a tank of mustard gas.
Mako_sato_ftw@reddit
Not necessarily forgotten, but I want a lewis gun so bad. There's just something about it that I absolutely adore, and ammo is still kinda available for it.

Swimming_Stand_1675@reddit
Oh? What did he do?
CakeHead-Gaming@reddit
Oh, he's just a massively transphobic and homophobic prick. He and Donut Operator are both very outspoken on Twitter about these things, and are both Trump supporters. I haven't checked in a few months as they've both gotten worse since the 47th commander and queefs election, so I unfollowed them, but yeah, just take a look back on Twitter and you'll see that they're being proper wankers.
I'm a big proponent of separating the art from the artist, but it's just... ridiculous.

The WA2000; at first I though the Steyr ACR, but I realized that getting ammo for it would be next to impossible.
BaronSimo@reddit
You might be able to 3d print cartridges out of nylon but I think the weird primers would be the hard part
I_Automate@reddit
Form the cartridge "case" out of plastic tube. Would be cheaper (in bulk) and more consistent than 3D prints.
The primer is basically a rimfire primer. Case would have to be at least 2 parts. The outer case and a second plastic insert with a primer compound filled groove. Probably best make that on a lathe, with a jig you could probably crank them out pretty fast.
The projectile would be the hard part. And the sabot

The Cobray Lady's Home Companion, just for a laugh.
DrAusto@reddit
The name in of itself makes me laugh, that’s something you name a little .380 that you can keep in your bedside drawer, not THAT. Streetsweeper is even funnier, like even for the 80s that’s a wild name

I can't believe they weren't smoking some strong stuff through the design and marketing phase of these. It's ill conceived in every way! A 9 lb "handgun", chambered in massively overpowered .45-70 (I understand there are some .45 Colt/.410 variants though which are marginally less crazy), horrendous trigger, and marketed as a home defence gun "for ladies". What could go wrong?!?

If you are willing to break the law... Or if there is some legal way to convert them back to functiona. The deactivated guns can be reactivated to full power with a new chamber insert. Possible to change caliber to something more easily available at the same time.
There should be a lot of the original deactivated guns in the US.
If you want to read more about the gun. Gun writers has a ton of info about it. Mostly in finnish. But use deepl to translate.
Use google search with site: function.
lahti l-39 site:http://guns.connect.fi/
Use different search terms. Such as the caliber. The information is spread wide.
Lahti L-39 barrel is made out of the best nickel steel that humanity could produce in the 1930's. Union between Finland, Sweden and Germany. Machinists who have reactivated the old guns tend to be amazed at the quality of steel.
All that fighting in the Lapland was for the nickel mine that Finland lost to Soviet Union after the winter war.
