Anyone know why cz prices have gone up? Just a few months ago a p-01 was $550 now I cant find one for under $700 even at Dahlonega!! They have the SP-01 priced at only $10 more??
The SP-01 they have could be old stock. CZ did two cost increases this year each around 10%. A lot of offerings are over 20% higher on dealer cost than what they were end of December/start of January.

From my perspective it seems like there are few dealers willing to bring in items that sky rocketed in cost in May that customers are still wanting last years pricing on. Dealers have seen at least two cost increases this year with nearly every brand. Couple that with customers having less money to spend, it’s hard to justify bringing in certain items right now unfortunately. HK is the perfect example of this. I routinely have customers reaching out asking if I can order a SP5 for 2.2-2.4K while dealer cost is now over 2.6K on them.

If you’re military/LEO, the blue label is going to be the best price. Otherwise, the 43X MOS is typically going to run you about 450, then your choice of an optic. If you have something in mind, you can probably get a bundle. Let me know if I can help!
You can purchase blue label online through some retailers and have it shipped to an FFL, but many times the actual retailer will require you to be in the same state. For example, primary arms will ship it, but you have to be in Texas.

I would always caution Ebay/Amazon listings for gun parts, unless it is a known rep/store (even then you need to check). There are tons of Holosuns, triggers, optics, etc. on Ebay and Amazon. Some might be legit, some might be "close enough", but some are straight up plastic knockoffs. Be wary, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Honestly there's no way to know, since everyone is out of stock more than likely Ruger hasn't produced a batch in awhile but since they are taking orders they do expect one relatively soon.

Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 7/8oz 12ga birdshot, preferably blue box 9 shot. I shot this stuff once before (purchased from AEammo but they're not carrying it right now) and it was the lightest shooting clay ammo I've tried. Ran absolutely perfectly through my various shotguns but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
It'd be a perfect introduction to 12ga sports for smaller framed people but once again I can't find it at all.

Don't make a mistake and get the 'vintage looking' curved stock. Go with a straight top stock (and only buy .22lr) or you'll have problems getting your eye aligned with a scope. My favourite CZ .22lr was a 452 American. I see they're still making them. EXCELLENT GUN! Also the 457 Varmint has a straight stock, shorter but heavier barrel. Gun weighs 7.3 lb. w/a 20" barrel. The American is a 'straight' shoulder stock too but now does not ship with iron sights but does have a threaded barrel for a can. 24" barrel and 6.6 lb. I have a 452 Left Handed Thumbhole stock with some modifications. CZ Picatinny rail that screws in right over the ejection port, the Yodave trigger kit (my pull is .9lb clean!) and also changed the plastic Maxwell to the aluminium one. I HIGHLY recommend the 'longer mag release lever'... it's only about 1/8"-3/16" but for around $20 it makes a HUGE distance when changing mags.(CZ American): https://www.czub.cz/en/firearms-and-products-product/cz-457-american*CZ Varment): https://www.czub.cz/en/firearms-and-products-product/cz-457-varmint(spring kit is $19) If you do the spring kit, after driving the pin out, taper one end of the pin before re-inserting as both end's edges are sharp. I’ve shot patriot sport a bit before and it’s not awful, had one light primer strike out of about 250 rounds. Not cheap enough to make it worth it over blazer or S&B in my opinion.

From my perspective it seems like there are few dealers willing to bring in items that sky rocketed in cost in May that customers are still wanting last years pricing on. Dealers have seen at least two cost increases this year with nearly every brand. Couple that with customers having less money to spend, it’s hard to justify bringing in certain items right now unfortunately. HK is the perfect example of this. I routinely have customers reaching out asking if I can order a SP5 for 2.2-2.4K while dealer cost is now over 2.6K on them.

You can purchase blue label online through some retailers and have it shipped to an FFL, but many times the actual retailer will require you to be in the same state. For example, primary arms will ship it, but you have to be in Texas.

I would always caution Ebay/Amazon listings for gun parts, unless it is a known rep/store (even then you need to check). There are tons of Holosuns, triggers, optics, etc. on Ebay and Amazon. Some might be legit, some might be "close enough", but some are straight up plastic knockoffs. Be wary, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

To my knowledge most BCM products are set at MAP. I looked, everywhere, wasn’t going to save much by not buying from them directly. I’m cool with it. Paid full retail for my first AR as well, a DDM4v7. I’m also cool with that because 7 years and 7k rounds later that rifle shoots truer than I ever will.
I worked for a major retailer two years ago behind a gun counter. I paid a little over $52.00 OTD for a super duty charging handle, which was 10% above their cost. Ended up buying four of them. They’re all currently being used.
For what you’re willing to sell me that charging handle for you’re still making pretty good margins.
I’ll just buy from bendy bill over the 4th of July weekend.

I don't do enough with Giessele directly to be a direct Giessele dealer so I have to go based on what I pay outside of them through distributors. I wasnt trying to price gouge you, I assure you, margins are about as thin as possible on 95% of items. The one has been in my safe waiting for a new home on one of my guns, and since you were actually super polite about the whole thing, I will happily send it your way for $60 if you'd like, try to get you as close to the original price you paid on your others.

Vortex is not that great unless you go high end on them and in that size, a Vortex will run you around $300 but more than a Primary Arms model like This: https://www.opticsplanet.com/primary-arms-slx-5-25x56mm-rifle-scope.html?_iv_code=29R-RS-FSCC25-610177 Also Primary will have a 34mm tube so you may need to also buy rings but cost is around $479. The Bushnell Match Pro is about the same but as the Vortex but has the fast'return to zero' feature and better ED (Extra Dispersion) glass. But depending on your reticle tastes, both the Vortex and Bushnell will be covering about 70% of the reticle surface with a shitload of horizontal. distance lines. I prefer something with a cleaner reticle like the Burris: https://www.opticsplanet.com/burris-3-15x50mm-veracity-riflescope.html (I own 4 'vintage' models) it'll run you around $630, gets great reviews and Burris' Warranty is about as solid as it gets. Don't make a mistake and get the 'vintage looking' curved stock. Go with a straight top stock (and only buy .22lr) or you'll have problems getting your eye aligned with a scope. My favourite CZ .22lr was a 452 American. I see they're still making them. EXCELLENT GUN! Also the 457 Varmint has a straight stock, shorter but heavier barrel. Gun weighs 7.3 lb. w/a 20" barrel. The American is a 'straight' shoulder stock too but now does not ship with iron sights but does have a threaded barrel for a can. 24" barrel and 6.6 lb. I have a 452 Left Handed Thumbhole stock with some modifications. CZ Picatinny rail that screws in right over the ejection port, the Yodave trigger kit (my pull is .9lb clean!) and also changed the plastic Maxwell to the aluminium one. I HIGHLY recommend the 'longer mag release lever'... it's only about 1/8"-3/16" but for around $20 it makes a HUGE distance when changing mags.(CZ American): https://www.czub.cz/en/firearms-and-products-product/cz-457-american*CZ Varment): https://www.czub.cz/en/firearms-and-products-product/cz-457-varmint(spring kit is $19) If you do the spring kit, after driving the pin out, taper one end of the pin before re-inserting as both end's edges are sharp. Hi, I'm a first-time gun buyer in New York City I know that they have all kinds of restrictions, anybody know where I could get the cheapest basic Glock 19 Gen 5? I would prefer MOS but if I can't get that cheap it is what it is. Seeing all kinds of deals for the g19 right now but I'm pretty sure as a New Yorker I have to go in person and I would have to pay an extra shipping fee if I buy a gun from out of state also so yeah. Hoping some people more knowledgeable than me can direct me to the best sale price for me.
