My partner bought 48 crème eggs from Costco a couple of months ago and he’s been having one a day since then! (The main eggs he won’t eat until Sunday though and I always wait until Easter Sunday.)

No. Besides, when even is Easter anyway? Changes every year and do we eat the eggs on Good Friday, or Easter Sunday or nondescript Saturday? Eat the eggs, it’s what Jesus would have wanted

I wouldn’t open a full size egg before Easter. Mini eggs, crème eggs etc are fair game.

I’m the same. I’ve been eating mini eggs since they came out this year/end of last year, but won’t be eating an actual Easter egg until tomorrow (other than the one my dad got me for my birthday, but technically that was a birthday present and not for Easter lol)

I do think that’s a bit of a shame for the kids, it feels like they are missing out, even though what it is they are missing out on is a rather nebulous concept. I don’t think chocolate on demand is a good idea for kids anyway, not saying they shouldn’t eat it, but I’d rather hand it out as part of a snack, or at the end of a meal.

Mini eggs and creme eggs are eaten whenever you want. I usually save the main eggs until Easter Sunday, but I was in dire need of chocolate yesterday so we all opened them early.

Nope. Today is egg day for me - I can't wait any longer and I'm out all day tomorrow! However, little eggs fell into my shopping basket from about February onwards - there's a loophole and I definitely use it!

Nope, after lunch today one of my kids asked for an early Easter egg so I got everyone into the kitchen to have a smaller egg (like the milk buttons ones) each and that’s just how we roll.

We always waited until Easter Sunday too, it made it feel more special! But I know a lot of people enjoy it throughout the season now. No right or wrong way to enjoy the treats just depends on the tradition you want to create!

I’m not religious and don’t celebrate, I’m visiting the folks this wknd and we shall have a roast leg of lamb tomorrow for lunch and mother has bought us all a little Easter egg for desert. Nice. I shall go to Tesco on Monday or Tuesday and fill a trolly up with less than half price chocolate

Yeah. If I want chocolate there's plenty of better chocolate for much better value than Easter eggs lol. The only reason to eat Easter eggs over regular chocolate is *because* it's Easter.

We had to wait until Easter Sunday when I was a kid. My husband didn’t. He would let the kids eat their eggs whenever they wanted but I’m strict and say no. Is it even Easter unless you get a bunch of eggs and eat until you feel sick?!
