The slide is for morale. Every good operator must have one source minimum of morale booster. For me, it’s my feet. I enjoy looking at my Chaco tan line.

More difficult while filming with the other hand I’m sure, but really not too tricky. You just keep the muzzle extended past the edge of the slide’s side walls and then it can’t flag your leg if you tried.
