Jalopy Camaro

I'm trying to get my Camaro up and running for the 8th annual Jalopy Olympics and have not been able to get it running. It is apparently not getting fuel as it will run on starter fluid. I do have fuel pressure and have tried a new PCM and replaced the injectors and fuel rail with FPV included. Injector fuses have been checked and swapped around as well. 1994 Camaro with the utterly disappointing 3.4L engine. Any ideas or help would be wonderful. With this $500 race car I am trying to get by as cheap as possible as we have a $500 budget we try to stay close to. Thank you!!

Solved it! After verifying with a noid test kit that I don't have signal to the injectors, I went back underneath and found concealed wires broken in the harness from the PCM to the injector harness. She's back running and ready to race in the 8th annual Jalopy Olympics this spring!!! Thanks for the help everyone.

There was a WRC gif that hit my feed yesterday and all the comments were about the photographer standing so close to the track as the rally car flew past in order to catch the shot.
This is the Temu version.

You said it runs on starter fluid ? Set up an electric fuel pump on an old boat gas tank that can be strapped into the truck area - You said cheap

Muscle cars on dirt is such a great recipe lol

The thing is such a hoot. Nothing faster or pushed harder than a $500 RWD car!

My $600 Neon came close, but I never General Lee’d it off of something that high.

Hey OP you got a video recording of that jump?
mnpersonman@reddit (OP)
Haha, yes plenty!

I need all them videos dude.

Get a cheap handheld oscilloscope and check to see if the injector pulse is getting to the injectors. It sounds like the problem is between the PCM and the engine.

Good thinking, I'll grab the power probe tomorrow and try it out. Thank you for the food advice

Haha, pic for attention, todd, one was a few years ago and it has performed many jumps since. Lol

Would you happen to be a good ol boy, not meaning no harm, who has been in trouble with the law since the day you were born?

Haha, no but my daddy brother was

I’m guessing you have checked the plugs and wires etc?
If you’re sending it off jumps I’d look for a loose wire. Add/ check grounds

Yes, I'm a decent mechanic but electrical is not my strong suit. Died while racing on the banked tri-oval in the backyard
FortuneHeart@reddit
Yeaaa it’s hard to say with that kind of abuse. Fuel seems like not the problem at this point.

Make sure none of the fuel lines are bent or dented shut.

Me, looking at your included picture
Mmm. Checks out :)

It's clearing leaping in this photo. idk what the problem is. It's not running..

I'd start poking around with a multimeter looking for discontinuity between the injectors and ecu. With all those jumps I don't think it's crazy to expect a pulled/burned/scraped wire somewhere.

I've got spark on all cylinders and the plugs. Luke, good enough for who they're for. I do have a few extra grounds from the chassis to the block, but have not found anything so far. I will go back into the wiring with crossed fingers. Thank you
