I'm pretty sure most people know that being attractive in life grants certain privileges in life compared to other groups. So does being rich, so does being white. So does your gender, which one depends on the scenario. Even if you're not in the most privileged group for something, you still have to live your life. You bring attention to these privileges so that people in the outgroup have a least a slightly better chance at getting past the bias but your average functional adult isn't going to tell you to just give up on life because someone else might have an easier time if they were in your position.

Therefore good skin = you take care of yourself Guys who shower less often and don‘t use perfume and deodorant smell bad. Therefore good smell = you take care of yourself Guys who are wealthy (if self-earned) usually are smarter than guys who are not. Therefore wealthy = you know your way around life (usually) Guys who have a lean body do a lot of exercise and have a good diet. Therefore good body = you know how to handle yourself and have good habits All of these determine your worth as a potential partner. Genes matter a lot when it comes to the actual shape of your face but pretty much everything else (except size) can be changed with the right mindset.

Like everything else, it doesn’t matter until it gets to a certain level. Money doesn’t matter. If you’re making office worker salary or construction worker salary, your date probably doesn’t care. But if you make millionaire CEO money then of course that’s different. If you’re a jobless neet, you can’t tell me you don’t think that would matter to a sensible woman. I've seen a lot of people work themselves to their bones and into an early grave. One guy i had seen had his hair turn almost completely grey in his 20s trying to support his family from stress. You can have things that make you happy when you're poor but these people if they got seriously injured they might choose death as a favorable alternative to actually going to a hospital. What I'm about to say is less about women as a group, and more about the importance of cultural norms, and how social instincts shouldn't always be trusted. I've been reading about how brutal life was following the agricultural revoltion was, and how all peaceful tribes were basically crushed by invaders killing all the men/elderly and taking the women and girls. Mass graves from this time period showed very few young women, and almost no girls. So them actually phsycially resisting in any meaningful way was rare. While I did say psychopathic, these tribes treated those in the tribe, or tribes they were friendly with fairly normally. They had art, pottery, and even trade routes. And if he was 18 that basically makes them peers. Reddit is really weird with age. I remember [the comments under a post where one teenager raped another teenager](https://www.reddit.com/r/MorbidReality/s/icKllGBJsp) crying because both were correctly labelled as "teenagers" when being 14 and 18 years old. In their mind a 14 year old (or even 16 year old in this case) is a litteral child, exactly the same as an 6 year old, whole the 18 year old is a completely formed adult, exactly the same as a 50 year old.
