Do you know a good tobacco rolling machine?

My mum got into rolling her own a while back, saved lots of money but she struggled. Bad hands. The cheap rolling machine frustrated her. Do you know if any good machines, tips or if you can buy pre rolled at a saving to the HUGE costs of cigarettes. Cheers.

if she has arthritis rolling is not best for her, i reckon the machines were you put tobacco in from the top and a full empty cig on the side (filter and paper attached) might be better for her.

Nicotine mints are pretty awesome. Really, they work great! Second to that, pipe tobacco is still pretty cheap, and you can "fill your own" cigarette tube things. But try the mints first!

Never known a rolling machine that didn't roll them so tight they barely smoked tbh I ultimately just learned to roll, might be some crummy attempts at the start but practice makes perfect

ah, I did gloss over that a little quickly, my bad. There was as machine a friend hate a decade or so ago for making 'secret agents' (i.e. it looked like a proper cigarette, orange end and everything, but you could put whatever ground herbs you wanted into it), but it did require the empty cigarettes as opposed to regular rolling papers. Though admittedly I now can't find any examples on google... I think there's less "rolling" involved by the machine and thus it wouldn't quite be as insanely tight but I'm going back 10/15 years for such a product. Unfortunately it may be a case of trying a few rolling machines and hoping that one isn't quite so awful :/

Years ago I had one of those tins that did it and it was pretty good once you got the hang of it. One like [this](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cigarette-Rolling-Machine-Automatic-Cigarettes/dp/B09515BGZB). It might be worth trying to get her on vapes though. They're cheaper and ultimately better for he health. I know that's easier said than done, though.

Back when I smoked, I was a dedicated hand roller, I found all rolling machines would take a packet of tobacco and create something about the size of the famed "Barlinnie special"\*, with the exception of the Rizla+ dual thickness roller - set it to fat and could produce a decent roly. Alas, that was 44 years ago, and I doubt they're made any more. \*Pentonville pin, Wormwood one-strand, and a few that are no longer PC.

They're all pretty shit in my experience and rarely last more than a month or two before the belt cracks or splits, but the cheap plastic ZigZag ones are the least bad. What I've found best is get a king-size rolling machine then put a filter tip in both ends and roll using slim papers. It stops the rollies going pointy at one and and seems to stop the belt from splitting for longer.
