How long are you waiting for GP appointment?

You're being screwed around. If I need an appointment on the day, I make sure I log onto the Patient Access app at 07:59, and refresh the appointments page until it goes live at 08:00. The surgery has the same list of appointments as the app, but instead of sitting in the phone queue with 80 other people, I get to choose which doctor I want to see and at what time - on the same day. If bloods are required, I got to the front desk after my appointment, and book for blood to be taken. It's usually the following week because they're busy, but it's done by a nurse at the same surgery. About a week later, I get my results (also on the app). If they've marked anything for attention, I phone in the afternoon and book a telephone appointment (they don't do face-to-face for test results). Within a week, I'll have the phone appointment, where next actions are discussed. That's about 4 weeks in total, at *most*.
