Hey OP, I feel your pain on this. The NHS website gives the following advice - Try to space the doses evenly throughout the day. If you take phenoxymethylpenicillin 4 times a day, this could be **first thing in the morning, around midday, late afternoon and at bedtime** You can start now, you will then be left with one morning dose on the last day

"take two 4 times a day" = "take two (tablets) 4 times a day" Take two 4 times a day means take TWO tablets four times, not one each time. Eight tablets total, over the course of the day, two at a time.

With antibiotics it’s important to space the doses evenly, which adhering to your waking, eating and sleeping pattern may not permit. (Depending on the pill you may need to take them eg an hour before eating or 2 hours after so factor that in.) I have done both 0800/1300/1800/2300 and 0730/1230/1730/2230; you should start with the lunchtime dose today and have a pre/post-dinner time and a bedtime dose.

Hi! I also have dyscalculia, just wanted to say please don’t be embarrassed about asking for help. I’d struggle with something like this too. It’s totally ok to not get it. Our brains just don’t work like that. I hope you have the answer you need.

On the assumption you have not taken any already, take two right now (12:15 UK time) Take another two around 6pm Take another two before you go to bed (i.e. shortly before midnight) Tomorrow, take two when you wake up (around 8am or 9am), two at lunchtime (12 to 1pm), two at 6pm, and two before bed. Repeat this pattern each following day

I normally do something like 9 am, 1 pm, 5 pm and then 9 pm. Four hours apart (roughly). First one as soon as you get up, last one 12 hours after that. If you're a late riser that could be 12 noon, 4 pm, 8 pm, midnight. Set alarms if you think you might forget. The instructions might say to leave a minimum gap between doses. Obviously pay attention to that.

When you wake, last thing at night - that's two down. Sometime around lunch for dose #2 and some time around tea for dose #3. Doesn't have to be evenly spaced out -just don't take all 4 at once and then nothing till next day!
