Best Apt Complex in Uptown/Oak Lawn/Turtle Creek?

Husband and I are moving to Dallas in June and are having a hard time finding an apt that we like in the Uptown/Oak Lawn/Turtle Creek area. I see a lot of apt reviews from this area saying their packages are getting stolen/cars broken into. What are the best apts in this area in your opinion? We have looked into the Cortland M-Line and Cortland Oak Lawn because they seem to have good reviews.

Come over to the Knox area! Should be lots of options in your budget. Maybe even townhomes. Not a lot of crime here.

Best and under $2600 really don’t go hand in hand in that area. You’ll get a safe place for that though.

Have you looked at the Jordan off Thomas and Maple. It's in Uptown, currently living there and really not any issues. 24 hr concierge, gated garage.

Depends on your definition of best, doesn’t it?

Every apartment complex in Dallas (or any city) is going to have a review saying a package was stolen or security gate broken. Having spent 10 years in the neighborhood, most are fine, but the prices are increasing by a lot, while overall property maintenance goes to hell.

Do you have any complexes you would say are more reliable than others in terms of overall property maintenance?
