The NWS NEXRAD station there is co-located with the airport

The circle near the brickyard VOR is where the radar station is.

Looks like it's just the cone of silence filled in with a rough estimate of what might be there.

i’m guessing it’s mesocyclonic in nature, but not representative of a tornado. that would shown by the bow echo.

They seem to coincide with the paths of some tornadoes within the line of Weather. More specifically, the paths The tornados would have taken if they hadn’t petered out. but they also seem to coincide with some bigger airports. So I don’t know if it’s some anomaly having to do with large aerodrome radar or something.
could anyone shed some light on this?
