My Windows 11 doesn't start after update

Today I turned on my computer and when trying to log in it no longer asks for the password, when I click on the “sign in” button a window opens and closes very quickly, I can't access my Windows. Who is going through this too?

Before you click sign in click and hold left shift key and with your mouse click restart. Hold shift until the computer restarts and says please wait. Then you can let go. Then click troubleshoot option-restore system and it will bring you back to its old system from before you installed windows 11.

But I didn't want to lose my files and installed software, I have a lot of important things on my computer

How long ago did you do your update to windows 11? Cause this is what windows says.
you should not lose your files if you revert to a previous Windows version, especially within the 10-day window after upgrading, as Windows typically preserves your files during the upgrade process. However, it's always a good idea to back up important data before downgrading, just in case.
Now what I do not know if it will save anything you added while being on windows 11 or not.

I've had Windows 11 for a long time, I used this system without any problems. Last Friday, 03/29, I updated the system but I only turned on the computer again today, 04/02, and that was when this problem appeared.
I have already tried to restore a previous point in Windows, but it only creates a point today that finished the update.
I've also tried checking for disk errors, but to no avail.
I even have some files saved on Onedrive, but I don't remember if it has everything I need, apart from the software I wouldn't want to lose and reinstall 🥺

Ok, if you can get to Cmd either once logged in or in troubleshoot (left shift+restart) you can run sfc/scannow to check for corrupted system files and then a more effective command dism /online /cleanup-Image /restorehealth in cmd.
Fun-Pure@reddit (OP)
I tried using “sfc /scannow” and unfortunately it didn't work.
The other command also has no result, still having a problem.
I don't know what to do, maybe I'll wait for some fix for this and hope my computer will update this when the solution appears, but still the same as the video

Did it say if there was any corrupted files?
Fun-Pure@reddit (OP)
Yes, said that will fix in next reboot
PossibilityAny6524@reddit
Oh ok and it rebooted and same issue? Then the ISO image is so corrupted that you would need to re-install Windows from scratch. Ideally if it was just some issues and the pc was still running like you could log in and stuff you could download the ISO Image on your pc and install it from cmd. Would be very complicated using a usb in the recovery page. Cause you would have to type a command to for it to look for it on your usb and the location path. Yikes!

Just as a FYI

Hey I just found something. Go back into CMD and type Chkdsk /f

If you have Windows 11 24H2, rhere are a lot of reported issues with it. In the recovery, see if you can uninstall some updates or revert back to 23h2 if 24h2 was the cause
greggm2000@reddit
I don't think it's possible to revert to 24H2, it's basically an in-place full install when you go from 23H2 to 24H2, just as when you go from Win 10 to Win 11. Ofc one can nuke the partition and do a fresh install of 23H2 that way, but everything on C: would be toast.
megaxz891@reddit
You can downgrade within 10 days of upgrading to 24h2, afterwards you can't unless you use iso file, which may cause lost of files.
greggm2000@reddit
Ah ok, good to know that, thanks!

This is why you should always buy a 500gb drive to run Windows and keep your software and files on separate drives. Then, if an issue arises, you can reinstall windows easily. I mean, what is the cost of a 500gb drive
PossibilityAny6524@reddit
Lol, I have a SSD and HDD. HDD used for storing my stuff.
RedBeard485@reddit
Well you have your answer, lol
PossibilityAny6524@reddit
Lol, I know they say using HDD are terrible cause they are slow. But, hey it works!
RedBeard485@reddit
Can you get into safe mode or access anything? If not just reinstall windows with clean format

I don’t know what to do, maybe wait have some fix to this and hope to my computer update this when the solution appears, but still the same way like the video
