Looking for a fun novelty gun

I’m just looking for a gun to use for plinking that’s a bit more for the novelty than the practical use. I’d like something cheap to shoot so .22 or something similar. I have a soft spot for Wild West type guns, especially the odd balls like the revolver carbine thing that they’re making again in reproductions.

A Browning Buckmark (maybe a heavy target model) or a AR 22lr with a binary trigger... ton of fun.

There are some reproductions of the Remington rolling block. #4 reciever that are incredibly cute, accurate and fun.

Lifecard if you’re just wanting a novelty. I picked up a blem from them a while back for pretty cheap

I have a 22 revolver carbine, 22 lever rifle, 22 mares leg, and 22 pump rifle. The 22 lever rifles are the best of the bunch, with the mares leg being a close second. They have the best accuracy and reliability of the bunch. Pump 22s are fun and accurate, but they're more ammo sensitive and don't like some lengths of 22s. The 22 revolver carbine is more fun to look at than it is to shoot - it vents hot gas close to your face and you get random particulates bouncing off your face after you shoot a cylinder or two. It is also at a big capacity and reloading speed disadvantage compared to the others.

Henry .22 lever action would be a fun toy, a .22 varmit rifle is always practical too

Mark IV 75th anniversary edition.
It has the target sights, and long, tapered barrel. It's no suppressor host, but it's still very cool. Just bought one myself, actually. They're from last year, and are only going to get harder to get a hold of.

If you’re looking for a novelty, Henry manufactures a .22 Mares Leg which is a lever action pistol. I’ve shot a revolving rifle before and didn’t care for the hot gas from the cylinder gap on my left arm.

I have a Heritage Rough Rider in .22 LR. Cheap gun, single action revolver, you can get a cylinder to fire .22 WinMag too. I may be mistaken but I think they have a carbine version as well

Get the 16 inch pistol. I have SBRs, SBSs, suppressors, and a few machine guns. You know what makes everyone giggle like a school girl without fail? Dual 16 inch rough riders. Best money I’ve ever spent.

That sounds delightful

I e got the carbine version. It’s just the revolver in a bigger frame. You can mix and match on the heritage site. Had to buy a 22 mag cylinder and it was cheaper to buy both so I did that and while looking almost bought the stuff to convert it to a revolver.

They do, I have it. They call it the ranch rifle.

Like someone else said rough rider 22 revolver. Or you could go real wild and get Henry’s 22 mares leg

.410 revolver. Nothing says Wild West like needing a snake gun to keep them rattlers off your Appaloosa

Really hard to beat the Ruger 1022 -- a fun plinker than can grow with your interests if they evolve

Henry golden boy .22 lever action sounds about right for you. Pretty easy to find out there, fleet farm sells them.
