2025 4k Gaming Rig - Build Check

Looking to upgrade my 3700X + RTX 3070 PC to a 4k ready PC.
Quick note: US with local Microcenter (MC)
Initially, I was hoping to just upgrade the CPU to a 5800X3d CPU but those seem hard to come by. The MC by me has the 5800XT for $150 though.
Haven't poured too much research into the CPU but it was recommended, if I wanted to upgrade and not be CPU bottlenecked, the 9900X would be a good choice - as good as the 9800X3d for 4k gaming.
- Any case, I've put my old and new builds below. MC has a deal for the new CPU, Mobo, and Ram for $550.
- Meshify C case has limited spacing for larger CPUs. Might need to upgrade tho the Lian Li Evo RGB or something.

are you only gaming? Because the extra cores don't do anything useful
just buy their 9800x3d / ram / mobo bundle
hope for a gpu near msrp, though with the just annouced tariffs, might just want to grab whatever you can get at microcenter
that ssd is nothing special, and $100 for 1tb is overpriced when you can get an sn770 or similar 2tb for ~$120

I should update this list. I’m basically reusing everything from my 2015/2020 build except cpu, ram and mono. So drives, p/s and fans are all free.
Mostly gaming and light browsing, email, etc

just buy the cpu/mobo/ram combo, they can't be beat
9800x3d is the best for gaming. 9900x/9950x if you want a workstation oriented pc
they also sell the 7900xt for $600 with an AMD cpu

Thanks for the reply(s). I'm going to dig into the CPUs a bit before I make a purchase. Talking with my accountant (aka wife), this is going to pushed out a few months.
Part of my plan is to find the ideal components in a given year and just watch for deals. This whole tarriff thing throws that for a loop but I'm hoping higher prices drops demand which makes it 1) more available and 2) better future sales. Who knows at this point though...
