ULPT - BOGO Soda Hack

Hi Reddit! Recently learned of a neat trick that works at most fast-food establishments. To ensure success, make sure there are free refills.

Go to a fast food restaurant with at least 2 friends (or partners, I don't judge!) - the more you have the better the loophole. Order just ONE fountain drink, then all drink from the same cup. This way you are paying for one cup instead of several!

You might wonder how to decide what drink to get if there are multiple people. I find it works best to take turns!

I've tested this at Burger King and Taco Bell. If it worked for you somewhere else comment so we can make a list!

When I was younger and broke I’d just ask for a water cup. Put whatever I want in it. Unless it’s the manager directly looking at you, the rest of the minimum wage staff generally don’t give a shit.

I’d rather not swap spit with friends unless I’m hanging them.

I have found that you can each have your own straw! Alleviates the hypothetical hygiene problem.
