Are there any good andrews liver salts alternatives?

I've had a pot of andrews for years now, but just found out it was discontinued in 2023. I can't seem to find any alternatives, all I'm finding is rennie tablets.
Has anyone found an avaliable alternative? It's something that's really helped me over the years, so running out sucks.

I don't know how long the shelf life is but it might be worth ringing small local pharmacies. In my experience stuff tends to hang around if there was no product recall and you might get lucky.

Eno is the stuff. If you get the unflavoured version it's more or less the same as old school Andrews. I like the orange flavour best though.

It's mostly just bicarbonate of soda with some citric acid and magnesium sulfate.
Try a teaspoon of bicarb

I just use half a teaspoon of bicarb in a small glass of water.
Bicarbonate of soda is the main ingredient in Andrews liver salts, but it also includes magnesium sulfate as a laxative and citric acid as an effervescent.

It doesn't seem like there's anything that's not a major brand, and thus massively upcharged. But epsom salts can provide a similar effect. I have a lot of those in for my baths. And apparently it's the same stuff. So I'll give that a go.

Isn't it called Original Andrews Salts now? Tesco has it among others: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/253716267

That's the one. But it's not in stock anywhere, the company that bought andrews, Haleon, said they stopped making it. Anything that's still up on websites is just forever out of stock.
I've even found people selling the stuff on ebay for over £50.
The pharma industry is so annoying. You take a product that's been helping people since the early 1900's and bin it cause it's not profitable.

Is this the stuff my ma would have made me drink as a kid when I had a funny tummy? Feeling nauseous and like I was gonna be sick? Dissolve in water and knock it back but it tasted so bad that it in itself nearly made you sick.

I loved this as a kid!

That's the stuff.

Ye, it's helped my stomach for years, and the company that made it sold up and the product was discontinued. Problem is nothing else works the same way.
