SUBMISSION STATEMENT: Yes, it's Kurzgesagt (cue a justified boooo!) - however this seems to be one of their bleakest - so read, most accurate - videos yet.
When a society is constructed like this and young people, rightly or wrongly, are dissuaded from having children for whatever reason, it leads to a chain of events and can-kicking that will result in them getting screwed anyway. If they go for it now it's highly likely that climate collapse will take them. If we somehow miraculously manage to avoid that the workload will be so great economic collapse is an inevitability.
And whilst you're here, let's deal with the epilogue of the video. The UK is set for at least four more years of austerity and none of the two big parties actually want to change that. The US is busy doing... whatever it is they're doing, but they're going down the drain far faster than the UK.
I can't vouch for those other countries; I don't know enough about them.

They sort of weasel their way around having to talk about capital or how overpopulation comtrubutes to hyper competition and it's hilarious.
"It's just a workaholic culture." Uh hunh, yeah? That's crazy, I wonder what happened.
