So I really messed up by neglecting to notice the “Junk” title on a vehicle I bought via online Copart auction in WI a while ago. I had all the necessary repairs done - primarily mechanical - and have a friend that wants to buy it. They did all the leg work by going to the DMV to see about getting it inspected & it was there that it was realized the mess up (ie it’s a junk title). Given its decent condition it was ridiculous that they didn’t title it as Salvage but that’s another story. My mess up. My question is can I possibly have an inspection done anywhere to have the title changed? I hate to have to sell it as scrap at this point. Thanks for any advice in advance.
