I gotta say. I’m surprised it wasn’t a Ram 1500. It usually is. This is some convenientcop material. Since we can’t link subs here. Also fuck that driver man. It’s mfs like that, that don’t wanna behind a trucker and will put themselves and others in danger to show to everyone how small of a pickle they got.
Becuase there's two kinds of people who buy pickup trucks, people who need a pickup for some reason (usually job or hobby related) and so are using it as a truck, and people that just want to drive a truck and so are using it as a car. Nobody wants to drive a truck as a car unless they want to feel big. It's as expensive as some luxury sedans and sports cars but with a turn radius only we could envy and a poor city driving experience from roads not designed to be used by large vehicles. They want to feel big and people that want to feel big tend to have insecurities of their own and anegatice self outlook that will also predispose them to being assholes.
So to answer your question: It feels like it's always tge bigger pick ups becuase all the assholes with self doubt, insecurities, and ego enough to want to play chicken with a semi are naturally drawn to driving the biggest vehicle they legally can to show how big their penis isn't.
Ditto; when I'm home, we use the runabout, not the truck. Truck is for Going Far Away With Cargo, not grocery store runs, not even for Costco reasons. Ok, sometimes Truck goes to Ikea or whatever, that's TruckFriend stuff, but mostly? Nah, she doesn't move unless we're getting paid.
The local guys in our parking complex are really good at this, i know a heavy hauler who daily's a 1971 super beetle.
So far i've seen Jimnys, multiple smart cars, corollas, cruzes, nissan leafs, model 3s, toyota IQ, chevy corvair, fiat 500s, minis, sparks, and the WILDEST car in the complex is a Nash Rambler.
Their dispatcher daily's a Ram 2500 diesel........
Yeah, I get enough of driving something big for the job. Some might even say too much, lmao. I really don't want to be doing that while home, and just based on what I've seen, I'm not the only driver that thinks that way. I don't think a single driver that I know what they drive drives a pickup, nor do I see them in terminal driver parking lots. It's either sedans or clapped out SUVs they got a good deal on a decade ago cause it was a miracle the vehicle still worked then, and even god can't explain why it still works now.
For real, when I'm home I drive a tiny ass Chevy Cruze cause I want to drive something that can actually turn and handle and has a cheap fuel bill. I just need to get around for a cheap price and no hassle. Efficiency and affordability. When it craps out on me well I've got more money now than then so might go for a more expensive but more comfortable car but still a car not a big ass truck.
I sometimes drive my pickup because it's actually comfortable like the old land yachts used to be. Then again, my pickup is a ratty 01 Dakota that I bought to do truck stuff with, sooooooooo...
Worded beautifully! Don’t forget the secret 3rd reason though, some of these guys are nearly physically incapable of fitting their monstrously fat asses/guts into anything smaller, however many still fall into category 2 (compensatory douches) regardless
I saw a report that something like 90% of pickup drivers had never used it for a pick up thing. When asked why they bought it. All the answers were it made them feel "macho "manly" "big" etc.
People with small dick energy really do drive most of them.
Unrelated, I’d like to think it’s not a coincidence, but I heard about a guy that went by Pickle that won a trucker rodeo championship and thought it would be great if you somehow turned out to be them. Figured I’d ask. Could be some other Pickle who’s not even on here but it’d be funny to me after all this time seeing you on here.
That Tundra (I think the pickup in the left lane is a Tundra) got a good scare i'll bet with the cop lingering behind them with the lights on for long enough to make it seem like they were the target.
Yup I’ve been cut off and then brake checked because people freak out when a cop is nearby and go under the speed limit and cop did nothing at all and saw it with his own two eyes
I know right! The light had just changed, anf I'm 78,xxx lbs. That move saved such a negligible amount of time, and I likely would have just caught up at the next light.
Yeah exactly. I've seen plenty of truck drivers drive horrendously down the road and end up in a ditch or I catch up with him in an hour later. There's no point in rushing just to do a ruin your life .
I bet that Toyota driver were shitting bricks 🤣. I always wonder what excuse they give to the officer, when they get pulled over. It happened to me and I wasn’t able to get the video
Yep, no worries! Randomly, I had someone in the passenger seat. Another driver, the company, had me drop off at a KW dealer to pick up a repaired truck. It surely made our day.

Why is it always the bigger p/u trucks? Ford F-Series are just as guilty. They'd rather cause an accident than wait their turn.

I think you're onto something, there. When I buy a car/truck, I want something small that I can get around in. Easy parking. Automatic transmission.
