What was the nature of this photo op?

We were returning to our base (Cavanaugh Flight Muserm, Addison TX) and someone else was flying the Huey back so I just hung out on the ramp of our Carabou on our way back from AirSho 2019 in Midland TX. I have a video where the SkyRaiders got so close I could hear their exhaust;-)

Addison! Ive done my bit of plane spotting there. Fun airport. I live in PHX but was in McKinney a bunch for work last year. I'll be back there the end of this month. Any cool opportunities you could hook me up with? 😀

Yup that’s the old Museum. It’s closed now and everything’s been moved up to Sherman. Sadly not open to the public. We only had a couple year ride with the Airshow/ride hoppin but it sure was fun.

12 years ago or so the Commemorative Air Force had their B29 and B24 based out of Addison and I have around 20 hours in the right seat of each. Was very close to upgrading and the life took a big crap on me.
