New E-Bike for me. Similar to many but has a torque sensor, GPS tracking, anti Theft, route planning, component inspection system with a bafang 750 watt motor and large Samsung cell battery. The tech sets this above most other brands like Himiway, Beecool, senada, Juice. Also the packaging was packed better than any bike I have ever gotten. Delivery by a delivery company not ups or FedEx. Now also selling on Amazon

It's damn near impossible. I tried a different LCD setup, it connects and works, and has access to the advanced menu, but broke the wheel hub before being able to ride it to test speed. I'm notb100% sure if it would be operational though. The oem display is locked and have not found out how to modify. For example; if you unplug your IOT module and turn bike on, the display says something about IOT module error, and the bike won't accelerate or do anything, just turns on. But when I plug this other lcd into it, and disconnect IOT module, then turn bike on, I don't get any sort of module error. Not sure if it's operational though either, due to not having wheel to test.

Huh? I believe it only works with the factory computer

You believe what only works with factory computer?

Your comment is very confusing and sounds like you tried to set up the bike with a different controller screen instead of the one that came with the bike. If not then you need to explain better .

The "anti-theft" feature of this bike can be defeated by opening the IOT module mounted on the seat post tube in front of rear tire, and removing the SIM card inside. The bike needs the IOT module to be connected to the controller to operate, but if you remove the SIM card, while IOT module is still connected, the bike will operate just fine. Of course the GPS location feature won't work, but you can still connect to bike via Bluetooth. Just an FYI, if you were putting all your faith into it being impervious to theft.

It’s the same things with bike locks. All they do is slow the thief down. There is no guaranteed way to prevent a bike from being stolen.

Wasn't shaming producf or anything, it's a decent bike. I definitely like the frame and setup and it's currently my platform for a custom 10kW ebike.

Hey. I have this e-bike too. Can you share your customization info and pics, please? I’m really interested

In the process of rebuilding it. Again. The frame, is pretty much the only thing that I kept from the original bike. I'm still trying to source a wheel hub motor that will work with front wheel. I'm currently waiting for the 5000w rear wheel hub motor to arrive. Still need to build the battery pack which will be moving to a rear rack setup. The original battery case was gutted, and I'm in the process of mounting the flipsky controllers, coolant pump, and radiator/fan setup in the original battery case. Also found out that the torque sensor isn't so easy to order from freedare customer support, as they are unwilling to do anything for me since the bike wasn't purchased by me from them directly, so there's that too. Was thinking about possibly using one of those Android carplay displays with a different controller. Anyone have any input on those?

And if you open your controller, it is filled completely with silicone potting material, so can't even access the board. But i can tell you it's a lishui controller. *

Hey have you ever tried to modify the original controller for the Saiga? I’m trying to see if I can make it accelerate faster but can’t find any info if it’s even possible in the first place

It’s a great bike and fun to ride. I was more agreeing with you. Every bike can be stolen. All locks and feature do is slow them down. For the price is a great bike. It’s 1 of 19 bikes I have 😂
