TouchID Password Manager on Mac with Linux?
Posted by ulfOptimism@reddit | linux | View on Reddit | 3 comments
The smooth work flow under OS X with convenient TouchID replacing passwords is a wonderful thing.
Is there a way to use TouchID on a Mac with Linux (Intel CPU) instead of entering passwords? Just as it is working on OS X?
I found many articles about TouchID for sudo commands but I guess that is something different, right? (I don't know a lot about Linux)

First of all, that's for r/linuxquestions or sub of your distro/DE.
There is a way to use fingerprint scanner instead of password, but idk if it supports Macbooks. It probably doesn't. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Fprint

No, there isn’t.
