So the whole "Internet through the phone" was like a hot 4 years?
It's like the equivalent of saying "back in my day we only had 512Mb ipods", but that wasn't like my whole youth. mentally there was like 7 seconds between when I had 512Mb storage and when I had a 20Gb Archos Jukebox.
I think the meme would be more accurate if they said something like "back in my day music came on two spinning wheel in a little box", which was a thing for far longer.
I mean to narrow it down it cable through wires just like it still does now, its just we have boxes that can transmit it once that wire is connected to them.
