I've only ever heard these vehicles called Snow Cats (West USA).

Same idea, just a different brand. I've never seen one in Western Europe that wasn't a Kassbohrer.

Feel free to post it to /r/snowcats

Kleenex situation. The original snow cat is a trademark of the tucker sno-cat company from Oregon, which are for narrow trails and utility purposes. This pistenbully is a slope groomer made for ski resorts

Mammoth used to have a burrito cat that Would park around the mountain for great food and cheap beers. Wonder if it’s still around

I give OP 10/10 for enthusiasm but picture-wise, he’s got nothin.
Oh well, we’ve all been there I guess…

Not a fire hazard at all. Nuh uhh.
nailbunny2000@reddit
I don't get it.
Haywire8534@reddit
It’s a tracked vehicle so you can drive your food truck onto a slope or mountain

Specifically it's the type of vehicle used to groom ski slopes. I think this truck sells crêpes by day and maintains pistes by night.

Typically cats that have been modified like this won't be out grooming/maintaining pistes with the fleet. Usually the only reason the tiller stays on after this type of mods is so they can cover their own track marks while traveling from shop yard to location and back

Imagine a snow cat food truck.

Interesting.
trolllord45@reddit
Kinda odd without context but judging by the netting it appears to be within a ski resort so using a tracked vehicle as a base makes sense
MaroonIsBestColor@reddit
It looks like a giant dumpster with scaffolding on it
hollandaisesawce@reddit
Where are the WHEELS?! 😛
stewieatb@reddit (OP)
Inside the tracks.
