Is breaking into a car petty crime? Serious question, I don't feel like it is. My parents' small town doesn't have a lot of crime. Some shoplifting, some unruly teenagers and of course there are addicts, but it's not something you experience daily.

I live in South Africa anything that’s not violent/contact is petty crime

I live in a medium-sized market town that, like many, has some people with substance abuse problems, and there's always some petty crime that goes with that.

Getting worse.......................... Cities and large towns getting filled with asylum seekers asians, blacks, ethnics, hence white scum move out, they find 'refuge' in rural council houses, bring in all their depraved ways with them.

Not really - you tend to know who's trouble and if anything happens you can normally figure out who's responsible at which point a full and forthright discussion occurs, for the greater good you understand.

At least where I live, I wouldn't call it necessarily common. However, if there's a crime happening, it's going to be a petty crime in the vast majority of cases.

Generally it's less common than in urban areas.

Not in my town. Can’t speak for all the other towns.
