Something that I've never seen discussed: Covid lockdowns, while flooding the economy with money, and the resulting inflation and supply chain problems made life way more unaffordable for people in the third world. That, along with incessant war and destabilization efforts by Western governments inevitably led to the mass immigration that we started seeing.
