Ah very cool! This is called an engine-wing vortex and is generally induced on from an engine canard. Generally on the side of engine nacelles there's a little strake on the inboard side (you can see this on the 737 max) and creating this vortex is it's purpose. The engine nacelle's are rounded and air "rolls up" in uneven speeds around the nacelle, sort of like rolling up a tortilla, and leaving this rolled up air can lead to more drag so the engine strake shoots it above the wing and boundary layer to prevent leading edge separation and drag.
Was this taken in a warm place? Generally you can see this vortex in high levels of humidity.

You’re literally seeing lift.
AcridWings_11465@reddit
Is it just me or are there absolutely no vortices in the video?
Swimming-Accident-75@reddit
Just you.
AcridWings_11465@reddit
I don't understand, is the airflow over the wing supposed to be a vortex?
FarButterscotch4280@reddit
nope. the vortex pictured is just a a fix for airflow over the wing that is disturbed by the the engine.
Chicago_Blackhawks@reddit
So when it stops, the airplane’s gonna stall right? D:
PatimationStudios-2@reddit
Actually we call it Elevators here
TDOTBRO@reddit
It’s also on the seat belts
VeraStrange@reddit
I’m assuming the arrows on the wing are so the vortex knows which way to go🤣
Great shot, it’s amazing to see the air actually at work.

And now, all the conspiracy theorists at once: „ChEmtrAiLs“!
itchyerse@reddit
Why is it your last flight ? Have you made a decision to never fly again ?
p1749@reddit
Last also means latest.
shrimpcest@reddit
Weren't they just making a joke?
p1749@reddit
Maybe, im terrible at getting jokes.
Danitoba94@reddit
Not a very good one.
Kenno-West_01@reddit (OP)
Cuz it was an airbus
Danitoba94@reddit
As an airbus mechanic, fucking owch. :C
RiskyDefeat@reddit
It was a 737 max tho
Kenno-West_01@reddit (OP)
It wasnt, it was an A350-900
approx_volume@reddit
Definitely a 737, based on the wing planform, winglet shape, and engine strut fairings.
RiskyDefeat@reddit
The plane registration is right there on the wing you see it? ET-AWH is a 737 MAX 8.
cat_prophecy@reddit
The angle on the wingtips are also too steep for an A350.
Kenno-West_01@reddit (OP)
Hmm, i just checked flight radar. Seems like they were off.
Yesthisisme50@reddit
No. That was a Boeing 737 aircraft that you were on.
Vinura@reddit
They shoud name European Airports Airbus Stops.

us itchy-men dont claim him
Kijukura@reddit
Probably because they saw some weird shit like that going over the wing!
BasicADHDGuy@reddit
by last flight they mean the last flight they were on
Alarming_Expert_6241@reddit
OMG- chemtrails!

Love this
itchygentleman@reddit
hey that little flaparoony is doing its job
jimmyflyer@reddit
Classified CIA chemtrail ….. Loose lips sink ships
sfjoellen@reddit
as beautiful as the math that describes it.
drissyslime@reddit
I always see these for some reason. Always happy to see the air foil with my own eyes being a mechanical engineer
AltitudeEdge@reddit
That’s a “chemtrail” 😉

Cool catch!
