ULPT Request: How can I protect my soon to be neighbors from ICE
Posted by ScaryFoal558760@reddit | UnethicalLifeProTips | View on Reddit | 358 comments
I'm having recent immigrant families moving in on both sides of me, they're both from war torn countries and I want to help them feel safe and at home by any means necessary. What are some methods/behaviors I can adopt to assist with this?
sctagt@reddit
Send them home before ice does it at worst time possible is the safe bet
Top_Employee_8944@reddit
Instruct them on their rights beginning with the absolute right not to answer/open the door. Immigrants are not our enemies. Rich ppl are.
Benevolentish@reddit
Agreed, watch out for each other out there and remember cops aren’t your friend.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
Most migrants do not trust cops and refuse to go to them, making them targets for abuse and exploitation. Great advice, dumb fuck.
Top_Employee_8944@reddit
I see where your coming from my brother but I assure you that my advice mimicks every Migrant advocacy group across America. I am the first legal mutt of both 1st generation Americans in Uvalde, TX in '79..was illegal to mix marry 2 yrs earlier per the Irish woman, Mexican man mix, but both Catholic and new to the states, so yeah...Trump did this, not me...Migrants always stay away from police, but so do I..Migrants are not ur problem brother, rich greedy people and businesses and 90% of Republicans are your enemy..Sorry I got you all the downvotes, but no worries...I got it way wrong about Biden being cognitively ready for Round 2 and I'm willing to admit it...
CttCJim@reddit
"most" negates your point.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
No, it doesn’t.
Why does the left want to prevent immigrants from going to police? Seems like something abusers do.
BuildMineSurvive@reddit
Because we don't want to see them deported, immigrants are an asset. The current admin is deporting first and asking questions later. It's unconstitutional, due process is required. Even undocumented immigrants have rights. Well, they're supposed to.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
I grew up on an immigrant community that did not trust police because how corrupt they were in the country where my parents grew up. My mom endured years of abuse because she was discouraged from calling the police for help. When she finally did, they rescued us.
Another example from my community growing up: sex trafficking was present and allowed to flourish because people refused to cooperate with police.
And another: employers exploit migrants because they know they are unlikely to go to the authorities.
American police are 1000x better than were most migraines come from. Do not discourage them from getting help.
I’m not even going to get into the face that you assume all migrants are illegal.
BuildMineSurvive@reddit
I never assumed that "all migrants are illegal". This administration just doesn't seem to care about the difference.
I want all immigrants to be able to go to the police safely or course. That's why Republicans were originally in favor of sanctuary cities back in the day. It just meant you couldn't be deported for reporting crime, abuse, etc. it was a guarantee.
Right now, it's the opposite, so of course people aren't going to go to the authorities for fear of their ability to stay in the country. I don't think that's a good thing, and was never trying to claim that. The trump administration has caused this to escalate.
I personally believe there should be a law that law enforcement cannot share immigration information with ice, the same way the IRS currently is not allowed to share info with ice, even for undocumented people paying taxes and checking the box willingly that says "I am not a legal resident".
The trump admin is trying to change that and give IRS information to ICE. This is another massive violation of trust.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
Stop discouraging migrants from getting help.
BuildMineSurvive@reddit
And then they get deported? How is that better?
SkyWriter1980@reddit
I’m once again begging you to stop conflating migrants and illegal migrants.
BuildMineSurvive@reddit
They. Are. Deporting. Legal. Residents. And. Legal. Immigrants.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
I cannot imagine believing this and doing nothing but complaining on social media.
Scratch the surface just a little and you’ll find it’s not true.
BuildMineSurvive@reddit
You have no idea who I am, or how many protests I've been to.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/21/us/politics/trump-immigration-visa-crackdown.html
And tons of college students are having their free speech rights thrashed, visas revoked, and are getting deported for saying or writing one critical thing about Israel. Without due process, without warning.
They black bagged Mahmoud Khalil and detained him for over a day without telling his pregnant (US citizen) wife where, without giving him his medication, and told him they were going to deport him. He's a permanent legal resident, and he's still detained right now. Probably would have been deported if it weren't for the public outrage. No free speech, no due process. Everyone should be and is entitled to that regardless of legal status.
In January there were many reports of people getting detained by ice for just speaking Spanish in public. Maybe the admin will stop, but I personally think they're only going to get worse, so I fear for any immigrant regardless of legal status.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ice-illegally-deported-south-florida-220057068.html
They say they've deported 100K people since taking office. Do you really think all 100K were processed carefully and according to due process? They're intentionally moving fast and the "errors" are just a bonus. We're wasting so much money in the process.
But I'm done with this thread you have a nice day.
NorthernVale@reddit
I have no idea why. Police have such a great track record with minorities, or really any group that's already a target for abuse and exploitation
SkyWriter1980@reddit
To be clear, we should discourage vulnerable migrants from getting help from the police if they are being abused or exploited?
The left loves vulnerable migrants.
Ilike3dogs@reddit
Please explain this further
SkyWriter1980@reddit
Which part?
Ilike3dogs@reddit
That the left is abusing people
SkyWriter1980@reddit
Discouraging vulnerable populations from getting help is abusive behavior

I'm confused by the question and why in this sub?. IF your soon to be neighbors are here legally, why do you have to protect them from ICE? This is like saying How can I protect them from the SEC, restaurant health inspections or some other rule they aren't breaking. I'm not following politics closely, but are you saying people in the country legally and doing nothing wrong are randomly being deported?
bombyx440@reddit
Yes. They are being deported without a hearing. Visas are being revoked secretly and then people arrested for not having a visa. The administration admitted at least one person was deported to a prison in El Salvador because of an administrative error.
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
Yes that is what is happening, and what we were trying to warn everyone about already.

MandibleofThunder@reddit
Hey friend.
I don't have any tips for you, but I am really happy to see this post - my only regret is that I have only one upvote to give.
Maybe some tips.
Do you all rent? Identify the locks/deadbolts on your doors - go to Home Depot/Lowe's whatever, get the same model but doesn't work with Management's master key (can blame it on old blown out locks). Just because they don't have a warrant doesn't mean they won't come in.
Install frosted window film.
Park vehicles inside garages or not in front of the house.
If they have kids, don't let them play outside (shitty) - but bring them to parks several kilometers away and make sure they're not tailed (not shitty)!
Confirm nothing. Deny everything. Make counter-accusations.
jpk073@reddit
Can you please elaborate on the locks part? Thanks
Top-Examination5743@reddit
Change your locks and pretend you didn’t.
MandibleofThunder@reddit

Top-Examination5743@reddit

jpk073@reddit
That's my point. Huge issue
thisisintheway@reddit
He’s saying switch the locks so the landlords key doesn’t work - I guess he thinks ICE is willing to ruin their OPSEC by asking landlords for a key.
Friendly_Employer_82@reddit
They don't use keys. They use a battering ram.
MandibleofThunder@reddit
I mean if SecDef isn't giving a shit about opsec why would any other federal agencies
Kozmic-Stardust@reddit
Interesting propolisition. My college dorms used "Best" brand locks which used keys that coukd not be easily duplicated. Doorknobs all respind to two keys, one master, one unique. I guess it woukd be possible for a locksmith to rekey the lock to match only the tenant key without the need to buy a new key. The issue is the licksmith would have to go onsite (red flag, you are not the owner), or you take the lock with you leaving a gaping hole in the door...
AdelleDeWitt@reddit
See what local resources are for training. I did training with my local rapid response team that supports people when ICE activity happens or is suspected. It's good to know what everyone's rights are and how to advocate for those rights.
Own_City_1084@reddit
Just befriend them, be kind to them, and if/when appropriate maybe share resources on what to do if ICE does come knocking.
And while they may appreciate the gestures from you, unfortunately I think nothing will make them feel fully safe and secure in this climate.

Jokes on you, I'm from here so there's no where to send me to. The fact that you don't know the difference is the real issue. Illegally crossing the border is not the same as a US citizen.
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
Unless you're native American you're an immigrant. Pack your bags, bucko. And my neighbors didn't cross any border illegally.
Ariana_Zavala@reddit
I wouldn't worry about it. News is blowing it out or proportion, like always. How many arrests have you seen the documentation to that was confirmed of people that are here legally? I haven't been able to find any. If you have any, send the link to me.
FireBallXLV@reddit
I have people I care about who came here illegally. I hate that they are potentially in trouble but it was a risk they took when they chose that path. Alternatively I have a neighbor who came here legally as a lone 17 yo student who spend almost a decade getting citizenship. WHY does he have to do things the right way and other people get to cheat? It's not being a " Bootlicker" to ask this question.
Vernacularshift@reddit
Just saying you're not a bootlicker is not the immunity from being a bootlicker card you think it is.
GuadDidUs@reddit
In my area, we have a family who came here legally and have their green card hearing pending since 2016. These people have been trying for a decade to get their green card, and have 3 children who are American Citizens. ICE picked them up in a raid.
Knillawafer98@reddit
the fact that it took a decade (and it will have only gotten worse since then) should answer that for you. people fleeing war torn countries don't have time to wait ten years. and by the way, your friend shouldn't have had to wait ten years either. that's ridiculous.
the "i suffered so you should too" mentality is ridiculous. no one should get any harm reduction because someone else in the past didn't get it? sure, let's never fix anything or help anyone, it wouldn't be fair to a random other person who isn't relevant to the situation and is already past the problem.
NorthernVale@reddit
And every year it's made more and more difficult to become "legal". Just these past few months so many avenues to legal status have been closed, and even rescinded. Not that it matters anyways, considering even having legal status won't stop them from sending you to El Salvador and then blaming it on clerical errors and just saying "whoops! Nothing we can do now! Too bad so sad"

New-Distribution-981@reddit
ICE is demonstrating that this just isn’t true. They willfully violate due process. They willfully violate direct judge orders. There is no apology and no repercussion. Why in the world would they suddenly care about the constitution? Answer: they don’t. Whatever rights people believe they are entitled to no longer mean jack shit when it comes to immigrants. New-Distribution-981@reddit
I would hesitate to do that. You might end up in cuffs on an airplane bound for South America before they realize a mistake was made. They aren’t asking questions. They aren’t double checking. They are simply snatch and sending.
As sad as it is, this is part of the plan. Show wonton disregard for the truth. Purposely grab “accidental” collateral damage and make no apologies or attempt to correct and then openly admit the mistake and say nothing can be done. Show people that to associate with immigrants is to risk your own freedom because the government is OK with innocents getting swept up and spit out. It will absolutely deter many/most from helping.

1- Get to know them. This is by far the most important thing. They need someone who can help them navigate the system. 2- Get involved with local immgrant activist groups. Get connected to rapid response groups in your area. 3- Follow the leadership of impacted communities. Stay informed. 4- Take active bystander training. 5- Learn legal rights and advocacy. 6- If they're Hispanic, learn Spanish. Even a little goes a long way. Keeps your head sharp too.
PerniciousVim@reddit
AOC was doing some online videos to help inform migrants of their rights, in case of an ICE raid etc. Maybe familiarize yourself with those and give them what information they need? Good on you for caring for these new residents.
New-Distribution-981@reddit
Honestly, all due respect to AOC, her advice is useless with how ICE is engaging people now. Snatch ‘em off the street, take ‘em directly to a plane and “bye, bye.” No questions. No lawyers. No holding cells. No amount of understanding your rights will help when the executive branch completely ignores them. And with nobody with any balls in the Republican Party to actually use their checks and balances he has zero consequences.
Trump has proven that the system of checks and balances we have and honestly the entire carefully crafted government is EASILY broken by a man at the top who decides to say “IDGAF what the rules are. Just try to stop me.” Our government is a complete sham. And even those who agree with Trump’s views are pretty vile if they overlook his gross disrespect for our government and its laws.

So, is the blanket assumption that all immigrants are good, all ICE is bad?
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
All people are good, until you have proof of otherwise.
Except for cops, which is what ICE agents are. Hope that helps!
Kavalyn@reddit
So... You get robbed, you just shrug? Neat.
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
It's incredible to me that you could extrapolate that from the statement I made. Do you live in constant fear of being robbed or harmed by people who look different than you?
Kavalyn@reddit
You are easily impressed, then.
So, I'm going to assume from your veiled racist statement that you think I look a particular way. That's fine, but that really says more about you than me.
Anyhoo, you have stated that cops are bad because they are cops. Cool. That's a bias. Given that you only stated reason is because they are cops, I'm just going to go with the good ol' classic of calling you a bigot, which is true, and don't take it too terribly.
The way you feel about cops, I feel about doctors. I am very ADAB. I have my reasons, and to me they are logical and well thought about, but most people don't share my belief, that's okay.
Still, if you think it's a great mental leap from me reading that you don't like cops to asking you what you would do in a very baseline situation in which a police officer might be involved is...worrying, slightly, but I'll ignore it for now. What I really want to know is how you would deal with your bias in this situation.
For me, it's usually devolves into threats of physical violence, questioning their intelligence and competency, and writing terrible reviews so people know they are awful.
Ta!
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
We have at least one piece of common ground regarding doctors.
The police bias comes from a long history of police in America and what they represent - protecting capital, not people. Look at them lining up at tesla dealerships, protecting one person's assets over the hundreds or thousands they should be serving. Additionally, police departments across the country have far too many bad actors for the rest to not at least be aware, yet they choose to do little to nothing about it.
For the record, I have been robbed, and I did attempt to get help from the police. I was told it wasn't a priority and that I should accept that my belongings were just gone. It was a mistake to ever think they would help.
Kavalyn@reddit
Yeah, the way you were treated by the cops is the way doctors have treated me, personally, and people I know. They do not care, doctors are, for the most part, largely worthless, and yet, much like your view of police, they are afforded every leeway and luxury and never taken to task when they fuck something up, because they, too, care only about capital, not people. And when it comes to causing the death, dismemberment, and harm to the public, doctors do far more damage than any number of police departments, with a staggering number of deaths attributed directly to medical malpractice each year.
I've seen more good cops than good doctors, but that's not saying a lot. The commonality, and this is something that bears repeating, is that the people who are most in position to serve the public interest are the ones who have the least amount of concern for it, period.
MrSpuddies@reddit
Stop using strangers as an opportunity for internet clout and get to know them first.
Informal-Fig-7116@reddit
First, thank you for caring about your neighbors. I’m sure they appreciate it. I appreciate it.
Idk about unethical but make them flash cards or pocket cards with names and phone numbers of resources they can call should they be detained. If you know of legal groups or attorneys, put the names there for them. Chances are their phones will be confiscated. Tell them to not use FaceID or touchID. Only pin.
You can also stall ICE if you suspect them. Film them and post on social. Use a bullhorn to talk to them so other neighbors will hear and come outside. The more witnesses you have the better. If you get them to lay their hands on you, that’s assault.
Park your car behind or around their vans if they come for your neighbors. Put your trash cans and recycling bins out in the street around the cars.
Your neighbors are not to open the door under any circumstances. ICE agents don’t generally have warrants even tho they say they do. Do not answer questions. If they gain entry somehow, say nothing except I want a lawyer. And then shut up. This is where the contact paper is handy.

ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
I know you only consume party approved media, but the rest of us have seen a lot of stories about legal immigrants being detained and green card holders having them revoked without cause
That's what they're concerned about. Typing in caps doesn't mean it's not happening.
TheDude717@reddit
Well, are the legal or illegal immigrants?
GoodGoodGoody@reddit
A super important question.
But this is a reddit rage post so just let people virtue signal.
TheDude717@reddit
Yeah I could give 2 shits, we got a buncha idiots who wouldn’t know common sense if it him them in the fucking face.
I always remember, Reddit is not the real world. Normal people don’t think like the nincompoops on Reddit.
Proud to be an American. Respect our laws. Don’t be an asshole. It’s not that hard.
Mr_McZongo@reddit
You're an irredeemable bad joke.
TheDude717@reddit
I don’t give a flying fuck what you think about me. You’re boy Biden let in a flood of illegals into our country. GFY
NorthernVale@reddit
A question that doesn't matter anymore. Just ask the poor guy from Maine
GoodGoodGoody@reddit
That was horrible.
Now let’s look at the numbers. So far such terrible cases are in single digits. Do you want to talk about the numbers of actual illegals that got the boot? Thousands?
NorthernVale@reddit
Kind of easy to claim they're illegal when you keep redifining what it means to be legal
GoodGoodGoody@reddit
If you have evidence that other Americans are in that El Salvador prison as that poor guy, let’s hear it.
Mr_McZongo@reddit
Not just Americans! People from allllll over the world getting sent to a prison camp in a country they've never stepped foot it! Pretty neat huh?
GoodGoodGoody@reddit
Definitely unusual.
If anyone was in the US illegally they don’t have squat to complain about however.
Mr_McZongo@reddit
Improper crossing into the US is a civil offense.
I'll admit, it would be kinda cathartic to see someone like you get deported for something like as trivial being late on paying a bill.
TheDude717@reddit
One guy, compared to how many illegals?? Buhhhhbye

chunky-romeo@reddit
Are they here legally or illegally? And if they're here legally why would you have to protect them?
Silent-Speech8162@reddit
Hmmm, been keeping up with current events? Anyone not (white appearing) is suspected as being an UNDOCUMENTED person. Currently the federal government through ICE is breaking USA laws by not following due process. Because of this they have even ADMITTED to taking a person they should not have and can not now bring him back. Try and imagine how that would be if it were you.
It should not matter if people you or OP encounters have documents saying they are allowed to be here. They still have rights NO MATTER what their status is.
And just like your kindergarten teacher likely tried to instill; be kind. Don’t be ignorant. Don’t be raciest. Don’t be a jerk. Do better.
chunky-romeo@reddit
Dude I'm brown have had no problem, my families brown they've had no problems. My whole neighborhood is brown we've had zero problems. But I bet you ain't brown telling a brown guy to not be racist. Lol....white people. 🙄
GuadDidUs@reddit
It's not just brown people, not that it should matter.
Here's what happened to a green card holding German national: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/german-national-green-card-holder-immigration-detention-fabian-schmidt-rcna196714
Silent-Speech8162@reddit
Thanks for that link. Didn’t know about the German National. Did know about the Canadian actor though, also someone who would identify as white. I’m in a college course right now about the psychology of discrimination. Apparently most US citizens, those that, at least like me check the (white) box on forms when they see someone of Latinx or South American descent they act are more inclined to assume they are undocumented migrants. Taken together with what’s been going on in the news (and I’m not entirely sure why my post is getting down graded, but whatever) we have a huge problem with ICE and illegal deportations. Again, it’s just clear. But I should have also included that there are some exceptions. Thanks again.
GuadDidUs@reddit
Oh I absolutely agree with you. I wasn't trying to "all people" your statement, though that may be how it came across.
My point was more to shout out for the people in the back that think "Hey they're only going after 'illegals' or 'the bad ones'" that assume that anyone they detain that's brown that speaks with an accent is illegal.
It's not just illegals, it's not just violent criminals, it's anyone these megalomaniacs get their panties in a twist about. Even European immigrants with permanent residency.

holy shit. I dont live in America, and have no desire to do so. This and other threads feels like I’m stuck in a Nazi/ gestapo book. Germany was shit in 1933 and America is shit now
DixieNormas011@reddit
the news is just now talking about it. These things arent new. If the Trump administration kept this same pace of deportations until his last day in office, he still would fall short of Obamas deportation numbers. Nobody called Obama a Nazi or gestapo...... The news tell people to be mad, and sheep get mad.
Ilike3dogs@reddit
Most of Obama’s deportations were people being stopped at the border, due process being granted, and the people sent back. Let’s return to that, shall we?
Silent-Speech8162@reddit
Yes this.
spicewoman@reddit
Obama was actually deporting people, not selling them for slave labor to El Salvador and calling it deportation. The Nazi comparison is because people are literally being sent to slave labor camps, which you'd know if you were actually paying attention instead of just swallowing whatever lies Fox Entertainment feeds you.
fckafrdjohnson@reddit
I can almost guarantee that wherever you live they also have specific immigration policies that people wanting to move there must follow, it's no different here but for some reason when it comes to America a completely free ride and even red carpet is expected.
SolitudeOCD@reddit
Tell them not to commit crimes. Don't give law enforcement any reason to look in their direction.
Oh yeah, and do what you can do to help them achieve citizenship.
Ilike3dogs@reddit
And don’t protest. At least not now. We don’t know where this is going
brightdreamer25@reddit
Even immigrants with who have not committed crimes are being rounded up right now.
purplepashy@reddit
The nail that sticks out gets whacked.
RedJerzey@reddit
Why do they need protection? Did they not come in legally through a port of entry and file for asylum?
brightdreamer25@reddit
Pay attention. Even people who are here legally are getting snatched up.
GuadDidUs@reddit
The number of people here who think people walk around with proof of their citizenship status on them at all times.
Do you think if they're rounding up a bunch of people at a worksite that the detainees have proof of their legal status on them? If you were at work would you have your birth certificate on you?
They are rounding people up, skipping the due process part where any mistakes would get sorted out, and then shipping these people off to a detention camp in a foreign country.
The Constitution (including the Bill of Rights and other Amendments) does not just apply to citizens. Apparently only "potential illegals" are required to follow the laws of our country?

lakenwjeskwb7517@reddit
I’m a sad person for wanting to live in a safe community and country? Im a sad person for wanting our country to sustain its shared cultures and beliefs? What’s really sad is your thought that unvetted people can just walk into our country. The people who are likely not vaccinated against measles, covid, flu or may have TB. The people caring unregulated firearms and drugs. Or people who would murder a student at the university of Georgia and countless others. I’m not a sad person for believing in justice and regulation. LEGAL immigrants are more than welcome to our country. What’s sad is allowing the continual inflow of illegal immigrants across the border who are unvetted and bringing god knows what. Are some of them good people? You bet, I’m sure a majority of them are. However you don’t know without regulation and secure borders. It’s asinine to think otherwise and toxic to empathize with people breaking the law.

thedrizzle126@reddit
No one is fucking illegal. That term is used by racists like you to draw division.
In the government, people without a status are called "undocumented" and in case you need a lesson, they are protected by the Constitution because they are on our soil.
Learn some shit and stop being racist.
lakenwjeskwb7517@reddit
Again, not difficult to understand and not racist. There is no race implied, my race is not superior than anyone else’s. The word racist has no meaning anymore as people like you have diluted its meaning. Immigrants of all races, sex, religion, etc are welcome to come legally.

Potter3117@reddit
Let’s put aside politics for just a few minutes together. If you try to help them and they aren’t legal immigrants, you really run the risk of getting yourself into trouble. If you have a spouse and/or kids that you provide for, keep that in mind.
Assuming that you have thought of that and are committed to helping them, you are in no way obligated or compelled to report on them. You need to start doing research into anything they can do to gain some type of legitimacy status and maybe start a search for a relevant lawyer. Make sure they have your contact info if you want them to be able to reach you.
I don’t recommend this, but it’s of course a realistic possibility, you could always hide them and fully support them financially. But this could essentially make them prisoners, in a way.
Regardless of politics, I think you are doing this out of genuine desire to help people, so I hope whatever you choose to do turns out as well as it can.
PaladinSara@reddit
This is specific, but for restaurants I frequent - I tip cash and watch the door.

Talk to them. If they dont speak english, learn to say hello in theirs. Tell them you are there if they need help. Tell them not to open the door for anyone with a badge. And if ANYONE asks, as far as you know, those apartments are still empty.

You are basically calling migrants to the US stupid. I assumed they came to the US because it’s better than where they came from.
Sum-Duud@reddit
Is that what I’m doing? No, I’m saying the current administration has normalized hatred and has blatantly ignored the law and more bluntly that the USA is not the safe haven it was in the past for immigrants. I’m not saying anything about the immigrants but twist my words in whatever way makes you feel better
Knillawafer98@reddit
While it has gotten worse very recently, it's pretty revisionist to claim the US was EVER a safe haven for immigrants. People in the US have hated immigrants as long as the US has had immigrants.
Sum-Duud@reddit
A country developed by immigrants, has historically been a lot safer than most of the places these immigrants are coming from. And yes, it has gotten a lot worse in the previous 100 days

TheRedBucket@reddit
Lmao no surprises
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
Wow you're really getting desperate aren't you? You sure showed me, posting a years old publicly available picture from an after work fishing trip. I've never said anything about your appearance either, I just know you're an incel based on the whole rest of what you're doing here.
8765432123@reddit
Pretty typical, no actually argument so you resort to mud slinging.
If you want to make an actual point. Stick to facts. Not nameless name calling and middle school tactics. People might take you seriously
Old_Personality_6823@reddit
If we do stuck to the facts you fucking run away. How about you acknowledge you were wrong and reply to my comment, and then maybe MAYBE I'll take you seriously. You went to your echo chamber and reposted this post. You wanted to talk to other idiots who look at Fox News and are like "yep that sounds right." I bet you were one of the idiots who believed they were eating our cat and dogs. BHAAAAABHAAAAAAZ
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
You don't give a shit about facts unless they're party approved and we both know that. Keep it up needle dick, I have more time than you have brain cells.

...except for that one guy that got deported for a soccer tattoo.
Uh oh, a professional soccer player who also coaches kids is a bad hombre! /s Clown
AnotherDoubtfulGuest@reddit
You reposted this in multiple other communities and got downvoted to zero and clowned. Want to ask for ULPTs about how to make people upvote your shitty content?
martin33t@reddit
2 things: How do you know their immigration status? At this point, it doesn’t matter if you are a citizen. Immigration officer are profiling people based on their ethnicity at points of entry. They are targeting international students, and detaining them without any proof.

Please stop fear mongering.
Urag-gro_Shub@reddit
Please listen to what people are telling you. They're kidnapping people
martin33t@reddit
Fear mongering? It is what is happening. Is not fear mongering. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/21/us/politics/trump-immigration-visa-crackdown.html

This isn’t unethical and anyone who thinks it is has bootbreath
chamzeh@reddit
I hope ice traces the IP of OP and that's how the neighbors get deported
therandombiker1@reddit
Wait and see if they're good people first. it's not always the case
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
I've met both families already. They're very nice people and terrified of what they're seeing in the news daily.
SkyWriter1980@reddit
Why would ICE come for them?
volkerbaII@reddit
ICE has been detaining people without due process, and it turns out the due process bit is when you find out if they are a citizen or not.
OblongAndKneeless@reddit
Walk the street back and forth with armament. Strike anyone in uniform or wearing a mask. Leave no witnesses.

Threatening law enforcement, another win for the party of peace and love!
volkerbaII@reddit
Trump pardoned people who assaulted police on Jan 6 because he liked their politics, and deports people who disagree with him in opeds and have committed no crimes. You might as well try to make this argument while wearing a gestapo uniform.
IfYouSeekAyReddit@reddit
who the fuck is the party of peace and love? the right has had a monopoly on violence far too long. nonviolence is the reason ICE is as dangerous as it it and dipshit racists feel empowered. leftists need to use more v10lent methods and the right should feel scared
SkyWriter1980@reddit
You should listen to why they migrated to America
SusanBHa@reddit
Give them a red card in their native language. https://www.ilrc.org/red-cards-tarjetas-rojas
trinaryouroboros@reddit
give them things that begin with the letter 'g' and tell them they can protect their property
ScaryFoal558760@reddit (OP)
I don't know if they play guitar but I have an extra, good idea.
Flaky_Bag_5419@reddit
Let everyone on reddit know and your neighbors so ICE won’t be called, that’s how
butteryasstreflip@reddit
Just be a good neighbor and don’t call ICE on them? I don’t know why you’d think there’s an unethical thing to do here.
