Is Wellfound useful?

Has anyone ever even gotten a response from this site?
In the past, when it was still angellist, I got a ton of interviews through it. Ever since they rebranded I've had zero bites. My profile is even "featured" and nothing. I've sent out tons of applications over the past few years and haven't so much as received a single message in return.

Any platform that asks you to "build your resume" is crap.
I did not make this rule, I merely observed it.

So they are all crap then?
PoopsCodeAllTheTime@reddit
mostly yes, the sites where I have gotten jobs at... I just send my CV or my own text as to my experience. No need to go through dropdown menus about my education or whatever

Mind sharing those sites?

So it's a bit of everything everywhere. There are too many job boards. Going to the job posting usually leads to a greenhouse, a lever.co, or a workday portal. Workday is the worst but I still fill it sometimes, I just leave the work/education forms empty because I already uploaded my CV, or because there's some ai scraping automation.

Feels like linkedin has devolved into okaycupid.

I found my first well paid internship from Wellfound itself, in just 3 days of applying.
I applied for 2 companies and one of them hired me, LOL probably luck but yeah it worked for me

I got some responses but many are for unpaid “cofounder” roles which I can’t afford to take.

I have never gotten an interview through an application that I submitted via wellfound. There was one role I applied to that said in the posting that they ignored wellfound submissions and were only accepting apps via email. That turned into an actual interview, everything else I submitted before expired with no answer.
IMO its gone downhill since the rebranding. When I signed up there was an annoying resume review feature they kept trying to push on me, and when I finally clicked the cta it turned out to be a paid resume writing service which indicates to me they're desperate for revenue.

Operative word here is "in the past." Before recruiters took over.
When it was angel, there was a sense of real startups looking for talent. Now, it feels like just another job board.

Got one that led to final

I've gotten a couple interviews from there. It tends to be smaller companies, so if that's of interest I think it's a good source.

Its pretty much the only consistent source of interviews for me
