HELP with my Triumph Spitfire 1500!

I've been working on this for a while, just finished the clutch but there's a new sound. What is this grinding sound? Help!?

It's irregular so it's most likely something in partial contact with the rotating assembly. I'm thinking clutch fork, throw out bearing, or loose bolts on the clutch or flywheel.
On a side note, I would consider removing the clutch fan and going electric, more consistent cooking and less parasitic draw.

Oh interesting. I do have an electric fan on the front of the radiator. So do you think I can simply remove the fan belt and it'll be fine?

I don't think that's your problem it's just a suggestion

Fan clutch? Or possibly alternator?
Easy enough to pull the belt off and see if the noise goes away.

If I pull the belt and the noise is gone then it's the fan clutch yeah?

Or the alternator, but basically yes. It's an easy one to rule out at least so might as well start there.
Another good trick for tracking noises down is to use a metal bar (a long socket extension is great for this) and use it as a stethoscope - put one end against whatever bit of the engine you think the noise might be coming from and the other end against your ear, it'll really help isolate the sounds.
