I think they have every right to refer to him as a white male.

This helps deter the racists who jump all over these sorts of post assuming that the offender is foreign etc.

‘Usual suspect’ ‘Deport them’ etc.

I think TVP did quite well including this information in their statement, to avoid any comments of this nature.

Absolutely . What I am highlighting is the PC nature of the statement . You on the other hand use racism as the reason why . The simplicity of my Post is apparently lost on the Large Philosopher ? The sad thing of course is that you know the accuracy of what I am saying . It’s called Inverted Racism such is the state of affairs that now exists in our Country where you can’t call a Spade a Spade without fear of repercussions . It’s unheard of for the Police to say the perpetrator was Black in an event such as this or indeed Muslim Far better if they simply said the Incident wasn’t terror related .

The fact that TVP specified the suspect’s race in this instance doesn’t mean there’s some grand agenda at play mate. It’s likely a preemptive move to curb the usual knee-jerk assumptions that you see on Milton Keynes TVP Facebook pages constantly.

If anything, your frustration suggests you’re more concerned with double standards than with the actual incident itself.

But let’s be honest with ourselves here dude. Race is only ever highlighted when it serves a narrative, whether that’s to disregard misinformation or to hide it. That’s a broader media issue, not proof of some conspiracy where white people are being unfairly treated.

And as for your “spade a spade” comment, people can say what they want, but freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from scrutiny. If you’re going to claim there’s a societal shift preventing open discussion, at least acknowledge that it works both ways.

I made a simple point . You don't know why Thames Valley Police specified the suspects skin colour any more than I do nor do you know if there is an Agenda at play . As I said in an earlier Post , the simple phrase "this was not terror related" would have told the public much more than the phrase "white" managed to achieve and had the deceased been any number of other ethnicities , we simply wouldn't be having this discussion because TVP wouldn't have mentioned it . I won't be contributing any further and thanks for your comments which I genuinely enjoyed reading even if I didn't agree with some of them .

They didn’t disable , they killed and as for the threat posed , the Inquiry will establish that . I made a point about the wording of a statement , nothing more and nothing less . They made a point of referring to the deceased being white , they wouldn’t had he been any other colour or ethnicity . Someone has said it’s their attempt to dispel racists which if true is utter nonsense if only for the fact you won’t tell anyone’s race by their skin colour . It’s simply more PC rubbish from PC Plod
