This is gonna backfire lol. People are actually going to want this.
Automatic-End-8256@reddit
Eh probably more of a lambo thing
dm117@reddit
Did a 19 year old write this lol? People from all walks of life drive Porsches. My friend is a bartender and he drives a 2012 Panamera S that’s fully paid off
Automatic-End-8256@reddit
Have you heard of generatily, dumbass? Im sure he bought it new with PTS right
Im just a PCA member but I don't know porsche owners....
peaked-at-7@reddit
🤓☝️
Automatic-End-8256@reddit
Ok peaked at 7, un checks out
dm117@reddit
It’s just a snobby ass comment. The PCA comment was the cherry on top. None of the people that I know with Porsches are doctors or dentists so the comment just came across as a big generalization. I also live in SF so things might be different here.
Automatic-End-8256@reddit
Coming from someone calling me a teenager from just observing most of the people in my club...right but since you are calling me that
Glad you know people with over 10 year old cars that are paid off though. I'm sure your social circles are full of doctors, though.
dm117@reddit
So I mention one friend that bought a 2012 car (mind you, it was only 2 years old when he got it) and now that’s an insult lol? Since when is having a paid off car a bad thing. By the way, my social circle is made of people that are affecting your life more than you know it. Not that it matters as I really couldn’t care less about status and I’m not insecure enough to care how my social circle is perceived by outsiders. Enjoy your PCA meet ups, I hope the doctors and dentists aren’t as full of themselves as you.
steezebuscemi1@reddit
Everybody I know who is a doctor has numerous tattoos.
thatgymdude@reddit
No this is entirely fitting for Porsches, infact I am surprised the brand has not already reached out into this. This is peak German humor because its not actually a joke and its actually them poking at their customers in a subtle way.
velociraptorfarmer@reddit
My old optometrist had a full sleeve and was a massive Harley nut who looked like he could throw his chair through a brick wall.
FazedCow@reddit (OP)
The self awareness is pretty on point lol.
Wonder what they'd charge for a small bottle of PTS tattoo ink. $1k plus ADM?
shellmiro@reddit
And a compulsory $20k watch purchase. Oh, and you can only get the tattoo done at the Porsche dealership
uberdosage@reddit
And you are obligated to upload a photo of the tattoo, the watch, and the steering wheel of your poorsche.
Yumago@reddit
Today is April Fools Day just so you know
DetroitLionsEh@reddit
Did you think OP didn’t know that?
EatSleepJeep@reddit
From the company that had a whole 911 as an option for the 918. If anyone would, it's Stuttgart.
FazedCow@reddit (OP)
Yup :) This was one of the better ones I found so thought I'd share!
Restless0786@reddit
“We know our fans and enthusiasts make our brand their entire personality… so introducing:”
No literally… 💯
This is why until they make a slant nose 911 out of the factory, I’m never buying their overhyped cars 💯 their design philosophy is really infuriating in itself… and part of the reason why they can charge 50k for a simple pinstripe in the paint for a 911 classic 🤡
stakoverflo@reddit
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day
yoon235711@reddit
And that option will cost 10k
Due_Percentage_1929@reddit
April fools
thatgymdude@reddit
Based on the 911 owners I know, I was expecting this to be completely serious despite being an April fools joke, I still think its potentially real. They are dedicated to these cars in a way that even the most hardcore Tesla fanboys cannot touch. Rennlist even has tattoo threads where people show off them.
devastationz@reddit
I think having this level of brand loyalty is unhealthy.
ArguablyTasty@reddit
While I do agree, sometimes the colours automakers create are just cool AF. I got paint matched to Mazda's "Winning Blue" when I fixed up/riced out my first car, and I absolutely adore VW's "Violet Touch"
mopar39426ml@reddit
Almost every color I love wouldn't translate to tattoo ink very well because they're metallics or pearls.
ArguablyTasty@reddit
Psssh just find metallic ink. If you get cancer, it's worth it
DoubleStuffedCheezIt@reddit
Well today is April 1st so...
e136@reddit
When can we all agree it's a cult?
white_urkel@reddit
Right about when you realize it's April Fools day
e136@reddit
Thanks I totally missed that! Ok, not a cult for now
ubermorph@reddit
April fools! But really, you can actually get designer Porsche paint if your heart desires..

argent_pixel@reddit
The best jokes are the believable ones which is unfortunate here.
TrumpAndKamalaSucks@reddit
I absolutely fell for it.
220V_50Hz@reddit
This isyour yearly reminder to skip all social media on this date and just sit at home with a good book.
PotatoDrives@reddit
Ngl I would rock a PTS 911 tattoo.
yabo1975@reddit
Facts. Especially if it's Miami Blue. Such a sexy color.
aprtur@reddit
Somehow my first thought with you mentioning that is "oh, the butterfly tramp stamp, okay"....lol
tyfe@reddit
My 911 is Miami Blue but not sure I'd get this lmao.
IStillLikeBeers@reddit
Same. My ink is black and grey but I'd get a PTS color to match my car in a heartbeat.
daxelkurtz@reddit
Holy shit Porsche. Perfect joke. No notes.
Skippy989@reddit
Because of a quirk in the English language, the word "gullible" is never included in dictionaries.
StrangeSmellz@reddit
What’s the date today
revanthmatha@reddit
Yeah they got me
AwesomeBantha@reddit
People will do anything to get on Porsche’s good list these days
PBP2024@reddit
It would be cool to be able to get actual paint, I'd like a seaside house in Moon Gem!
Funkytadualexhaust@reddit
Isnt the color affected by your skin tone though?
aiu_killer_tofu@reddit
This is definitely something I can see people considering.
I know a guy who got a grilled cheese tattooed on him for a lifetime discount for a restaurant he loved, so this doesn't seem like a stretch at all.
