Rust removal in door help/advice

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently noticed some rust on the inside of my door, and I’d like to fix it. The problem is—I have no experience with repairs at all!
What tools and materials do I need to remove the rust properly and prevent it from coming back? Also, are these products available in the Netherlands/Europe?
If you know of any good YouTube videos or other posts that explain the process, I’d love to check them out!
Any step-by-step advice or product recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you all for your helpful responses!
It’s an older car, and we’ll probably keep driving it for a few more years before getting a new one. So replacing the entire door would be tricky, but I’ll definitely get to work with all the tips and tricks you’ve shared.
Thanks again for your help! 🚗🔧
Keep you updated on the progress!

Pull the weather stripping off. Grind off the rust. Fill any holes. Apply and sand body filler. Prime and paint to keep water out. Reapply the weather stripping. Doesn’t have to be perfect because it is covered by the weather stripping but a quality job will look better and be easier to seal to keep the water out.
The biggest thing is getting all the rust. If you don’t get all the rust, it will continue and swell breaking the paint protection barrier and start rusting all over again.

There’s a handful of ways.
The correct way, disassemble, buff, cut out the worst, weld in new metal, paint and reassemble,
The next best, buy a replacement door of questionable quality, find out after you bought it that it’s worse than the original.
The easiest way is to get what you can with a wire wheel, clean as best as possible, use a rust converter on what you can’t get to with the wire wheel, and paint over

Like previously stated, cut and weld is the proper way, sourcing a door is the best way, but the project car way is wire wheel on a drill, rust neutraliser, primer and paint.

The only fix really is to cut and weld. However it might be cheaper and easier for you to just replace the whole door
