Nevil Shute's 'No Highway'.
I Googled to see if there had been an aircraft called the Reindeer.

Sadly, I knew that without Googling. "No Highway" is an interesting book, and an OK movie. It get's more interesting when you're aware of Nevil Shute's previous experiences, and if you know about the DH Comet.

Have you seen or read "On the Beach"? Highly recommend

Indeed. Awesome book.

Ed Nash is just great, his videos are excellent and high quality. It made this one especially funny because the delivery and quality was spot on for any other video. I almost didn't catch on that it was a prank until I heard a tiny bit of implausible information that really made me think. He even had me sold on the biplane tail, I bought it hook line and sinker

Honestly, one of my favorite Jimmy Stewart and Marlene Dietrich movies ever. Seriously

That looks like it’s straight out of an episode of Ultraman or some similar Japanese monster show from the 1960’s

Got me
