Anon makes a valid point, that to select people, looks will always hold more sway than personality. And that people without looks have to work 10x harder to be likeable.
What he fails to realize is that making even the slightest effort lets the bulk of people around you see you as a non-offensive NPC, which is a far step up from the incel they perceive him as now.
I had a friend who was really ugly (so bad he couldn’t even lie about to himself), but he was surprisingly charming and charismatic when chatting. He had zero charisma in real life, but through texts when he didn’t have to actually speak to someone he excelled.
He pulled off something similar when we were teenagers, he picked a random good looking guy from Google images and used as his profile pic. He actually managed to get nudes from a few girls, but they all ghosted him when he sent some back.
Jokes aside, Discord's whole 'lol you can't browse or checks servers, you have to opennw browser, find a third worry website, find the link, click it, let it take you to the extension and do all these steps just to find it out they need phone verification

What does he think that proves? He still has an awful personality and he's still alone.
