No, not really. March-May here is thunderstorm and hail season, it’s part of living here. Also FYI, yes hail is a possibility Wed-Fri for DFW, that doesn’t mean YOU will get hail Wed-Fri. The odds of your exact neighborhood getting hailed on 3 days in a row are extremely low.

Welcome to Texas. It’s an annual occurrence in the spring. My car currently looks like a golf ball from previous storms and it is what it is. If you care, park in the garage.

Yeah I understand that. It’s always a risk here. My house got hit super hard earlier this month and my 2 year old roof is totaled along with my garage door and gutters. It was a hail storm unlike anything I’ve seen before!

I mean, yeah. But that's every spring and sometimes fall. But it's completely out of my control, so if it happens just gotta deal with it.

Just because hail is possible doesn't mean everyone gets it. And it's certainly unlikely to get it in the same place on 3 straight days.

Also, insurance is getting higher because people used it too long as a roof maintenance plan--"don't replace that 20 year old roof, just wait for a hailstorm and the insurance will take care of it". The insurance companies collectively got tired of it, and now we're all paying.

3 days of nonstop hail is not predicted. Wednesday and Thursday have scattered storm chances for half the days and then Friday morning is the main time for most hail.

i watched a bunch of news channels before making this post. maybe slight exaggeration, but yes, 3 nights of hail, nonstop day after day. fact
