It's my 46th birthday today!

Honestly, I feel pretty much the same as I did at 26, if you don't count the tinnitus, arthritis, extra weight, chronic joint and back pain, crushing stress, creeping depression, and that fun little sense of loneliness that shows up uninvited.

I have found acceptance of some things and patience with and action towards others has helped with these things, but it took a lot of time to change my approach and it is definitely still a work in progress haha. I’m 42 and will be 43 in June. Just had a check up and the doctor told me unless I have a high risk or a lot of family history I wouldn’t need a full on colonoscopy until 50. She may have meant doing one of the Cologuard-type test at 45 though. We’ll see.
