Read the link above. It’s designed for dangerous things like rescuing people from the upper floors of tall buildings, combat medical evacuation, delivering supplies to troops under fire, etc.

To be honest the main thing about it is that its lifting rotor is completely “shrouded”, and thus it reduces the risks of operating it in urban/dense forest environments.
This thing is long in development IIRC, before drones were a thing, and drones are quickly catching up. I’m afraid maybe it will be obsolete by the time it rolls out.
