please try to keep it from accessing the Internet directly, since it's not particularly safe and you won't be able to do much with period-accurate browsers and apps.

Highly recommend looking it up, it's awesome. Basically a proxy server that sends you to old versions of webpages restored by hand from wayback machine and other backups from the 90s-early 2000s, plus a bunch of other stuff (you can stream audio with shoutcast, play web games like OSRS, etc.)
