Is that a Mac with a Lage kit???
BigGuy204@reddit
I really thought it was but I’m pretty sure it’s a ruger lc carbine. Or maybe a HERA 1911 upper.
MountainTitan@reddit
This is some cartel/gangbanger kinda shit lol
Jeez, they at least some iron sight
GarandElemental@reddit
We once passed a laundromat a long time ago that has a guard with an AR style shotgun, nothing fishy
Tao_Laoshi@reddit
We just going to ignore the guy in pic 6 with his hand over the muzzle?
Petrus_Rock@reddit
His finger is also resting against the trigger. I don’t understand how this man still has 10 fingers.
Tao_Laoshi@reddit
I’ve seen a picture of a bank guard in China with a ratted-out shotgun playing on his phone while flagging his partner’s skull with the muzzle, and it makes me wonder sometimes if the firearms given to these guys aren’t inoperable show pieces.
alienista3@reddit
Thats private security? Lots of firepower for a mall cop.
TimberAndStrings@reddit
I never understood why pinoy security guards pack this much heat. A few months ago I saw a photo of a mall security who had a fucking USAS on him. What the fuck happens over there that he needs a USAS?
Raymart999@reddit
ISIS, NPA (New People's Army), MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front),and the occasional drug addicts/criminals.
asiannumber4@reddit
MILFs?
BackyardAviator009@reddit
Moro Islamic Liberation Front, theyre practically a Separtist Group operating further down south of the Country & no theyre not the "MILF's" you we're expecting them to be
StriderTX@reddit
imagine getting beheaded with detcord after a horrific misunderstanding
m4eaty@reddit
They were not disciplined by the M1911 enough
RuTsui@reddit
The Philippines has been involved in continuous civil wars and insurgencies for a long time now. For a while, soldiers leaving Camp De La Cruz were immediately in a “war zone” as the Cagayan valley was a red area. Saw an armed patrol walking down the street through one of the barangays. Makes you appreciate looking in a stable country.
red4162@reddit
jewelry heist came those don't play around some are fronted by xcops xarmy dudes with mil. grade weapons,
StevenMcStevensen@reddit
Violent crime is really bad there, lots of heavily armed criminal gangs, tons of robbery. Also terrorism from the south.
Recently one of my girlfriend’s old school classmates went to drop off a bank deposit for their work, in a wealthier and safer part of Manila. Some dirtbag robbers not only took the money but executed them after, for basically no reason.

How come no body armor/plate carriers? I mean even Kevlar would be better than nothing
FudgeControl@reddit
They're probably average mall guards. From what I've seen, only guardsbat banks have body armor.
red4162@reddit
security guards are poor cant afford plates no security agency will spend money on a guard, life is cheap in the ph
I_2_Cast_Lead_45acp@reddit
When your can barely afford to pay for food, rent and medical, body armor is probably low on the list
BackyardAviator009@reddit
I still remember some Security guards from wayback in my place that are practically armed with a 25rd MAC-10 (Catholic Seminary/Orphanage) a Type 56 AKM (Sec. Guard from a Duty Free Store in Clark Freeport Zone) & the rarest of all, a QBZ-95 used by an Armored Car company for their sentries
ImNotLHO@reddit
Then I’m out here with a S&W M&P .40…
Locked_and_Firing@reddit
What the hell is going on over there?
OBEYTHEHOBO@reddit
Most guards here use a shotgun like silver colored and a rusty revolver. Though I did see some with an ACR or any ar15 platform never seen one with an ak yet.
kaloozi@reddit
I’ve seen rusty shotguns mixed into the arsenal as well
OBEYTHEHOBO@reddit
Yeah but the rusty shotguns are rarer for me but probably because I usually pass the banks and most guards there take care of their shotguns
pokemonguy0417@reddit
Saw some gard personality with X95s and pump action shotguns
idkarn@reddit
OT but slide three guy has a hatful of hollow?
MlackBesa@reddit
Lmao this looks like a video game bug where textures are transparent
idkarn@reddit
IKR?! It's like the inside of his hat was the same hue as the greenscreen the background is projected on, or something.
Revolutionary-Wash88@reddit
It's mesh like a trucker hat
idkarn@reddit
Yes, u/Futanaru_Garchomp already enlightened me
Futanari_Garchomp@reddit
The photo quality is ass so you can't really see it, but the top is mesh, it's pretty standard for guards in the country
idkarn@reddit
Thanks, that explains it!
VermelhoRojo@reddit
Having a “security agency” in Ph opens the door to legally procuring all kinds of full auto goodies over there, IIRC. Have a buddy who legitimately had a private army, with a little tank, BARs, M203s, etc.
SaccAss@reddit
I think they banned agencies having anything more than shotguns and pistols recently but i could be wrong
Viktor_Bout@reddit
Everything is legal if you sign your name on enough paperwork.
Some countries just have less of it.
InitialAd4125@reddit
Yep some also require money as well but that's just tiny slips of paper.
WeTheSummerKid@reddit
M203s? Holy —
VermelhoRojo@reddit
I’ll dig out a the pics
P-Potatovich@reddit
Is that a cap with a hole on 3d pic
lanalatac@reddit
the top of the cap is a really thin fabric
P-Potatovich@reddit
Oooh DAMN I want one but with an actual hole
Gregory_malenkov@reddit
I flew into Dauin on Negros Oriental a few years back and the police officer guarding the doors had a sawed off shotgun with a duct taped grip lmao
Snicshavo@reddit
Truly a Filipinos moment
Gregory_malenkov@reddit
A certified Filipino Classic
xvr0317@reddit
Bro had the “10% faster aim down sight speed” attachment from Call of Duty lmao
gibson_creations@reddit
Meanwhile working security in America I can't even carry pepper spray
AquilaEye@reddit
And guards in far-flung provinces have to deal with insurgents too
Individual-Grade3419@reddit
5th photo. this is my boom stick! 😂
bren97122@reddit
I visited my mom’s side of the family in the Philippines most recently around 2014, and we visited this one touristy sort of mall in Manila. The security guards there were absolutely loaded for bear. The one guy who stuck out to me most distinctly was carrying a 7.62x39mm AK of some sort. We didn’t get as close to them as I would’ve liked, and my gun autism was not nearly as well developed back in the day, so I just told everyone it was a “Chinese Type 56”. I do remember it having an AK-74 style muzzle brake, which I’m not sure is a feature of any Chinese-produced model. Maybe it was an AK-103 but I’m doubtful of that since Russian weapons are fairly uncommon in the Philippines.
Perhaps it was a Chinese Type 56 an enterprising Piony gunsmith tacked an AK-74 muzzle brake onto? Either way… drip.
Brilliant_Ground1948@reddit
What your referring to is the Norinco AK-2000 chambered in 5.56.It's the chinese copy of the AK-101.
tipsyBerbVerb@reddit
What are those guns in pictures 4 and 5? They look like shotguns of some kind?
yoteboi@reddit
so many turkshit shotguns
babushka45@reddit
And the cops with their plethora of Turkish pistols
WeTheSummerKid@reddit
Justified because the Filipino criminal typically has a gun, sometimes a grenade. The professional criminals have assault rifles.
cor1912@reddit
When I was in Ph, the more minor security had airsoft or even worse toy guns, with empty hip holsters
ThisIsAJokeACC@reddit
Cheap batons from Temu would’ve been better 💀
New-Adhesiveness5978@reddit
What is the gun/guns in photo 4/5 ?
Serious-Lavishness-6@reddit
Shooters Arms SAS-12
Organic_South8865@reddit
They're mag fed shotguns. Just not sure on the exact model.
UnggoyMemes@reddit
What's the gun in #4?
Serious-Lavishness-6@reddit
Shooters Arms SAS-12
Snopro311@reddit
Looks like the usas shotguns
Walker_Hale@reddit
I don’t think there’s any Daewoo products here
Snopro311@reddit
Do you know what gun is picture #4? I was just guessing
midgetzz@reddit
SAS-12
ShibeMate@reddit
Usas-12 drip
Walker_Hale@reddit
I can’t tell what it is but it’s not a USAS
midgetzz@reddit
They are SAS-12s, the Filipino USAS-12 at home lol
saurontu@reddit
Usas-12 goes hard
bobbobersin@reddit
Why you doing little dude in Pic 5?
soup__man@reddit
I lived in Metro Manila for about 2 years on and off. The guards mostly have rusty shotguns with duct taped grips. I was bullshitting with a guard outside my building once and asked if they were loaded. Bro checked the mag tube and it was empty.
CyberSoldat21@reddit
First guard is carrying what I can only assume is a ruger LC carbine?
PSVRmaster@reddit
Insurgents with assault weapons like to rob banks .
