Caught the Neighborhood Poop Ninja in Action

So I’m driving down my street, minding my own business, when I spot a woman walking her dog. The dog, right on cue, decides it’s time for nature to do its thing. Nothing unusual—until I notice that she has zero intention of cleaning it up. No bag, no visible effort, just vibes.
I slow down, roll down the window, and politely ask, “Are you going to pick that up?” She quickly replies, “Yes,” and I continue on my way, not trying to start drama.
I live about three houses down. I pull into my driveway, glance back, and—surprise!—she's gone. Houdini’d her way around the corner with poop in her wake.
Naturally, I channel my inner petty detective, jog around the corner, and snap a pic of the fresh evidence. As I’m walking back, she magically reappears and confronts me: “Why were you yelling at me?”
Yelling?? Ma’am, if that was yelling, you might want to avoid actual confrontation at all costs.
I calmly let her know: Leaving dog crap in someone else’s yard is not okay. Ever. You own a dog, you own the responsibility. Simple stuff.
Then another neighbor walks up with their leashed dog and says, “Oh yeah, she does that all the time—lets her dog out without a leash in the mornings to drop a deuce wherever.”
Seriously, what is it with some people? You bring a dog into your life, you also bring in poop bags, early walks, and a bit of humility. That’s the deal. Don’t be a garbage human—clean up after your pup.
And to the lady in question: If you’re reading this, maybe next time I’ll let my kid use your yard as a bathroom. Fair's fair, right?

I wonder if she is the one who puts her extra trash in my curbside can. 🤣
-OnlyZuul@reddit
I saw a homeless dude shitting the in Greenbelt creek just North of 16th close to HW75 (Harrington Park).

I used to live in an apartment complex that had a 💩 bag station. One of my neighbors refused to pick up after her dog—even though the bags were right there! No amount of talking to her got the message through. Finally, fed up I picked up her dog’s 💩 and instead of throwing it in the trash I tied the bag to her door knob. She moved out that week, problem solved.
Tiiimmmaayy@reddit
My apartment complex has shit EVERYWHERE. They replaced all the mulch, gravel, and bushes around the entire complex and replaced them with white rocks. People just let their dogs shit on the rocks and leave it. Sticks out like a sore thumb.
bendybiznatch@reddit
Now some complexes make you pay for a dna test so they can tell which dog it is.
Tiiimmmaayy@reddit
I guarantee that’s a scam. Cops don’t even bother to check for dna for burglaries. Ain’t no way in hell they gonna bother to pay to test a dog’s shit.
ihateusernames78@reddit
Private companies are far more likely to follow through with this kind of crap than the police.
Puzzleheaded-Sun-390@reddit
Especially when they’re making the tenants pay the bill.
bendybiznatch@reddit
It’s a real thing. And some places do actually use it to fine people.

scooteristi@reddit
That doesn’t sound true. But it sounds funny.
Mythdome@reddit
This is absolutely a real thing and it’s becoming standard in many larger metropolitan areas. It does work because the fee structure is written into every lease giving complexes the ability to enforce. When people start getting $350 bills it’s funny how quickly they change their behaviour.
NotEmerald@reddit
It is true. I've had 2 complexes do it. I don't think they actually test it, but they do make you pay for the initial service.
El_Reyna0909@reddit
One of my apartment’s leasing agents lives in my building and daily I see her let her dog poop all over the property and never pick it up. One time she legitimately ran away after her dog popped because she saw me walking by
abstractraj@reddit
We have an HOA with a budget for poop stations. Do we have poop stations? Nope!! Still no excuse for not picking up
scooteristi@reddit
Make your HOA do the job.
ifruitia@reddit
It’s nice when the trash takes itself out, isn’t it? Lol
thisoldguy74@reddit
I live a few houses down from a linear park/walking trail. In a neighborhood full of houses with backyards, people walk their dogs to the communal pooping ground every morning and evening. Back when I lived in apartments, you'd have an easy time convincing me that was low level apartment dweller behavior, but I know better.
DsprtlySeekingSusan@reddit
Lol. There's a very similar discussion going on in r/sanantonio.
Dog owners who literally shit on the rest of us are the WORST.
NerdiChar@reddit
We are in a permanent war with one of our neighbors (Carrollton). I came out one morning and watched their dog being encouraged to come shit in our yard. When the wife realized I saw, she panicked and immediately pretended like it wasn't intentional. Hasn't happened since, but:
The weekend they moved in their son rang our video doorbell. We were out of town but I responded and without a hello, hi I'm your new neighbor, hi I'm x name, nope. Immediately a response of "WHY WERE YOU IN OUR BACKYARD?" I didn't want to tell them we were out of town because I had no clue who it was, but yeah...wtf. That's what started the war.
We chose to allow native grass to grow back in and choke out the artificially planted St Augustine grass to benefit the pollinators. Came out to get into the car and the husband squared up and shouted at me that our lawn "looked like shit" and it was "bringing down his property value." (Spoiler alert, it's not)
Accused us of stealing an Amazon package from their porch with zero evidence because we didn't do it.
Placed their bulk trash on our curb instead of their own multiple times, so I've been doing it back. It magically stopped.
Son comes home from work after midnight and every night, without fail, breaks noise ordinances by blaring music at max volume from his vehicle.
Had a 12 foot skeleton in our front yard year round because we wanted to. Followed all city ordinances, no fines or trouble with the city. Husband threatened to come on our property and pull it down because he didn't like it.
DFW has some of the most toxic people I've ever met. I grew up in Florida and all the neighbors were friendly and minded their own business. I hate it here.
NoOffenseImJustSayin@reddit
I’m not proud of this but when we were college (many years ago) we followed someone who let their dog poop in the front yard of our rental house near campus. We quietly followed them to their house, then went back at about 4 am and all 3 of us took a shit in his front yard. Seemed pretty funny at the time.
isthereanyotherway@reddit
This is absolutely hilarious.
WhatsUPdudeZ@reddit
Oakpoint multiple times I’ve seen people leave the bags by trees
That’s peak half assing right there
Realistic-Pay-6931@reddit
If they live it permanently, that is bad. I've seen some leave it and pick the bag up upon their walk back home so as not to carry it on their entire walk.
Realistic-Pay-6931@reddit
Sadly I've seen someone allow their kid to pee against someone else's fence because of convenience. There was a wooded area not far from this private residence too.
TerrificTJ@reddit
People should pick up their pet's poop without being told. It is the civil thing to do. Yet we are becoming more uncivilized every day.
That being said, people who complain are being called "Karens", so they choose not to complain anymore. Their voices have been silenced. And so, stuff like this is happening again and more frequently because there is no more accountability. People can again do whatever they want. You win.
You also reap what you sow. Learn to live with it, I guess.
Maleficent-Theory908@reddit
I took pics and printed them on my mail box and fence. They saw it, every one saw it. Then posted on our online page, this was before nextdoor. Poop bandits in my side of DFW.
cpatstubby@reddit
He’s already had more press conferences than Biden had in his entire four years. You didn’t think this one through. 🤣
gatorintexas@reddit (OP)
You make no sense. Did you post to the wrong sub?
cpatstubby@reddit
Ha. Yep. My bad. 😥 deleting. No idea how it happened.
whatever1713@reddit
There’s someone in our neighborhood that leaves their dog crap on the corner of the elementary school yard. So gross and inappropriate.
altagato@reddit
Thought I got lost and stumbled into next door. My favorite is the one that picks up but dumps it in everyone else's alley trash. You'd think that'd be better but when it heats up and smells to high heaven, no one is grateful 😉
mycatshedshair@reddit
Thankyou. People act like I'm petty but they put it in after the trash has been picked up and we keep the bins in our garage. Therefore I get a week of their smell plus my litter. 108 degrees, not fun.
GeminiDragonPewPew@reddit
It’s time to spray paint some version of Scarlett letter on these people’s homes. Public shaming should be totally acceptable for this kind of inconsiderate behavior. This and cruising on the left lane 😆
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
And another 'see you next Tuesday' advocating vandalizing another person's property.
GeminiDragonPewPew@reddit
And another who doesn’t understand humor or sarcasm in a post that even ends with a laugh emoji. Karen is strong with this one.
This-Speech4659@reddit
Time to break out the chocolate bars
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
I knew it wouldn't be long before some cunt showed up advocating poisoning animals. And yes, you are a fucking cunt.
This-Speech4659@reddit
Aww. Your mad at me than the nasty dog owners. Go back to mommy

I'm not mad at you. I'm just calling you out for what you are.
This-Speech4659@reddit
What are comments for the cocksucking dog owners? We will wait my dear keyboard warrior

If you like getting your cock sucked, maybe don’t use “cocksucking” as an insult.
Snobolski@reddit
I'd never poison a dog, but I might give an off-leash dog one of my dog's treats but tell the owner it was chocolate covered raisins.
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
Yeah, joking about poisoning someone's animal isn't funny either.
Snobolski@reddit
Pro tip: if you don't want your dog to eat unknown stuff, keep 'em on a leash.
thephotoman@reddit
No, he isn’t. Cunts naturally have warmth and depth. Someone advocating for animal poisoning has neither.
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
Very true.
rootwraith1@reddit
Random story: I had a neighbor walking their dog all over my lawn few days earlier I saw poop on my sidewalk and days later in front of my door. I was so angry... Called neighborhood services. I told them I'll action if it happens again. Couple weeks past I realized they were not related events. It was coyotes. :D
iwantapetbear@reddit
Put it on her porch for her.
Agreeable_Gap_1641@reddit
We have 4 different bag stations and STILL people are not picking up the poop. I’m in Marquis at legacy apartments. I also see this when we walk the trail next to circle K. Trash and right there. Piles of poop everywhere smh.
TXVette121@reddit
I really wish they'd pick up the poop when they walk their dogs on the school playground. Poor kids trying to play and dodging poop.
5uck3rpunch@reddit
We have an older couple on my street that feels entitled because of their 60-ish ages. They let their dogs run wild, pooping all over everyone's lawns & digging in the flower beds. They never pick up & never have the dogs on a leash. I love dogs & have one myself, but what these people do is disrespectful. The dogs don't know any better, but these people should. They are always yelling the dog's names to act like they care: "Mallory! Mallory!"....
Snobolski@reddit
Because the young folks are so responsible... SMDH
GTFO with your ageist bs.
Longjumping-Month412@reddit
Next time, take a picture and post her! Lol
ghostlee13@reddit
Sounds like somebody needs a flaming bag of dog 💩 on the doorstep...
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
Absolutely. The male karen lives three houses from where the incident occurred! 😆
mollyyfcooke@reddit
Do you also leave your dog shit on the ground and not pick it up?
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
No, I don't. Unfortunately. I don't have any dogs.
loganalbertuhh@reddit
Got nothin better to do
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
... than harass some old lady walking her pekingese. 😆
SeriousRefrigerator7@reddit
it’s fair and reasonable to people care about their and their neighbors yard with fecal matter in it. also reasonable for you to not care. not reasonable to be an ass bc someone cares when you dont
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
You're both fucking assholes. Good grief.
gatorintexas@reddit (OP)
You, sir are probably one that never picks up their dog waste.
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
You are correct. I don't have dogs.
AdImpossible2298@reddit
What!? This man’s a hero
Puzzleheaded_River61@reddit
Hold up, that was guy who did that? Bwahaha 🤣
This-Speech4659@reddit
Wow. Where was this?
gatorintexas@reddit (OP)
Ridgeview Ranch. In the Manors, on Capilano.
SharkSheppard@reddit
All neighborhoods. We have a lady like this who let's her two run off leash and they shit wherever. Plus a house who just let's their great Danes shit in the front yard.
DragonflyFront9882@reddit
Good for you! 👏👏👏
Regular_or_BQ@reddit
Does this lady also toss garbage out of her car while she's driving? People are the worst.
