As a kid, cartoons like Looney Tunes, GI Joe, Heman, and Transformers. Also loved Little Rascals and The 3 Stooges.
College was Seinfeld and later SpongeBob. I had very little free time.
Today...nothing. I've been trying to finish Better Call Saul for over a year now. I'm on season 3. I fall asleep anytime I finally have the chance to relax and watch something.Â

The Fall Guy - when that show premiered, I was 9 years old and already a hardcore Lee Majors enthusiast (had the Bionic Man âaction figureâ).
The Fall Guy came on Wednesday nights at 9pm. Alas, 9pm was my bedtime! I somehow convinced my parents to allow me a 10pm bedtime on Wednesdays ⊠and after a few months they stopped paying attention and thus The Fall Guy single-handedly helped me advance my nightly bedtime routine 10pm.
Thanks, Lee Majors! đ«Ą

Add an early age I realized I didnât care for most TV shows at the time, especially comedies where people were acting silly or dumb things, and the drama involved. I preferred cartoons instead because all the hard work and effort that went into making each one. Not to dismiss the efforts of the crews TV shows, I was more into the art of the animation process

No one has said NYPD Blue or Hill Street Blues? for shame!!!
Emilie0711@reddit
We werenât allowed to watch NYPD Blue because of Dennis Frankâs naked butt cheeks, but Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere were always staple shows at home.

omg! the scandal! that was wayyy before Janet jackson's boob gate. totally swept under the rug!

Early teen - Headbangers Ball, Yo MTV Raps and 120 Minutes. The Simpsons. In Living Color. Older teen more MTV music shows plus Liquid TV. Beavis and Butthead. I remember loving NBCâs Thursday night lineup at some point. The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, and Night Court. Also Jeopardy has been my entire familyâs show since the mid eighties.

Bedtime was 8 oâclock. But on Tuesday nights, if my brother and I got our baths done and were in our pajamas by 8, we could stay up an extra half hour and watch Happy Days.

I did want to note that even though this is a Gen X sub it is still pretty interesting to watch the genres roll in (Grammar Police Git offa me RN RN RN) I love how this kinda jogs the memory of a show that was missed. yeah it's been done a zillion times but a refresh is nice cuz ... hey like maybe i wasn't alive back then. lol /s đ€Ș

Sorry, I have them on DVD. My dad and I used to tape them on VHS and watch them next afternoon since it was on late. That show has memories for me, not very popular though. It was like a lot of other 80s shows, cool car and jazzy music. My favorite episode had Lori Petty and Gregg Henry.

thanks for the info i'm going to look it up.

Soul Train, Dance Fever, Night Flight and then YO MTV Rap, 120 Minutes and The Simpsons.
Had no use for sitcoms, game shows and melodramas. Rather go to the dentist.
Outside Simpsons maybe Pee Weeâs Playhouse.
MTV was mostly all I watched once it came out.
And movies. Back when they didnât suck and were less than 3 hours long.

ok and back in the 80-90s and the days of TIvo and DVD, i remember being on the subway in nyc and people either racing home at their stop because they forgot to set the vcr, tivo, dvd whatever or to get home to watch their show before we had these things..Man the struggle was real back then when all we cared about was who shot JR.
