Idk where OP is located, but I live in Utah, US. I've never done one, but I know a couple people that have and it took about a month to get qualified, they had to be under observation for 23 days in a row and 3 follow-ups, but got $12K in total.

Seems like you can Google then. Iconstudies has a ton of high paying trials out of Salt Lake City just on first glance, but Utah is a major medical hub. Maybe it's not as common elsewhere

Not risky at all. I did a couple of studies & made some money to part pay for my studies. You can only do 1 study ever 3-4 months (something like that). It was enough to get the financial office off my back, & then I got a part time to pay them small amounts over time, even then they withheld my degree when I graduated, but by then my remaining amount was very small, I could pay them back with 2-3 weeks earning from a proper job

It's like a pension or social security in the US (where I live). Basically a guaranteed paycheck for life.

A pension is owned by the company you worked with or a company like fidelity or something and if that company collapses, you're out of luck. An annuity is a pension owned by an insurance company and they have more leverage capabilities and more protections in place. For example if a 401k crashes with the market you are totally at risk, but with a fixed or fixed indexed annuity the insurance company offers downside protection by buying options with funds. They play both sides so they're much more often to be better off financially in the long term. If the insurance company fails, then another company is required by law to buy them out and make their customers whole, a standard pension doesn't have that protection.

Romance some upper middle class divorced or widowed woman who has a million or two to spare. Prostitution is the oldest trade in the world, after all. (Online or offline doesn't really matter, just get out there and find someone with resources that seem excessive to you)

Some crime does pay. Like insurance fraud with an auction buy that books out at a high value. Takes money to make money there, but you can get a quick (enough) buck

As a student I'm assuming you're around my age. You may be able to apply for enough credit cards, or one with a high enough limit that you'll have 15k available in total. I assume you are more likely to get multiple for a few thousands tho. Then whenever you need that you can do cash advances - there may be limits for each on how much cash you can withdraw at one time.

I would HIGHLY not recommend this especially if, as it is, you don't have the type of money anywhere to pay it back. And assuming you're unemployed, yeah you may be approved for the cards but that's a lot of debt. Consider that cash advances often have associated fees so if you get 15k that way, the amount you're expected to pay back will be more than that, and even more if you can't pay it all back in time. Especially so young you might not want to do that. But this is ULPT, and if you've exhausted all other options mentioned there's that one.
