Nearly identical in an EV version it was called the Xebra. All of the Xebras were recalled due to mediocre braking on the single front wheel. With sufficient braking force, weight transfer to the front would overpower the single wheel brake. In the EV form, it was a horrible way to be introduced to electric cars. Top speed of the EV was 40, with a safe 15 mile range ( to 50% Dod).
I suspect the ICE version would suffer from the same failure mode with the brakes.
