Remember when this sub was about prepping and intel around it?
Spottedinthewild@reddit
I’d like to point out to you that not everyone on this sub is safe from these abductions and ‘prepping’ is not just a white person activity
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Sorry, I didn't know how much more virtuous you are than me. It's done you well so far, why not double down?
Spottedinthewild@reddit
Not a matter of virtue, just pointing out that different people prep for different things. If you’re not threatened by ICE then good for you but a massive number of people currently are. I’m first generation and my partner is a naturalized citizen, my preps have definitely changed since ICE stopped following the law.
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Ok, so he's where I don't understand. Are you here legally? If you're not, then why do you think I ought to care? If you are, I don't believe you because I've lived in immigrant (oh sorry, I should mention they were legal immigrants) communities. Surprise, they're not big fans.
It's weird, it's like the minority community wants to be treated like people and not cattle. But their skin isn't alabaster and so they must agree with you. Because that's not racist.
kingofthesofas@reddit
There are a ton of LEGAL residents, green card holders and other people who haven't done anything illegal being targeted right now by this stuff. A legal resident with a green card from Germany was detained for days and they tried to make him give up his green card. The person who got sent to an El Salvador prison was a legal resident. Soon this may start for citizens too with the only criteria being you said something against Trump. I saw someone the other day who is a citizen have their global entry revoked and put on the no fly list because they had a public video criticizing Trump. We should all be preparing for this.
Flying_Madlad@reddit
A loss of words to say, illegal immigrants got deported. I'm shocked and saddened. Like in any country. Wow.
wreakxhavok@reddit
Hey man he’s not wrong the administration even admitting to sending not illegals by mistake.
Why are you so mad?
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Mad? No, sovereignty. Protect it or lose it.
wreakxhavok@reddit
Individual rights stand up for them or loose them.
They take a little now to take more later.
This is why due process is important.
I don’t like government over reach. Not when it comes to guns and not when it comes to this. Are they rounding up native born civilians for political opinions yet? No. But it’s the premise of if they do you have no tools to fight it.
They have made mistakes, they have detained native born citizens, so are we really in the wrong for worrying about the implications of this? Or do you only worry about things after they happen?
Cause if that’s the case I don’t think a “prepper” page is for you.
kingofthesofas@reddit
Did you miss the part where they are here legally or can you not read?
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Uh, are you a citizen? It's really fucking easy to not fall afoul of ICE. Most people have been doing it their entire lives.
wreakxhavok@reddit
A guy who has been a citizen his whole life (born here) was on foot walking to businesses and applying at a bunch. Some one called ICE thinking he was illegal. ICE approached him and took off the street and put in a van then held at a holding center for hours and they never asked him a single question. Then finally they are about to send him off and they look at his ID. There are currently 22 cases alone in just Chicago of legal citizens getting detained by ICE.
And even if they are here on a visa or green card they can’t prepare? There’s no due process so there’s no telling what will happen to you.
Regardless of your opinion on deporting illegal immigrants you see why people are concerned no?
Flying_Madlad@reddit
You are flagging my inbox for someone who doesn't want to be also flagged by ICE. Are we fascist or aren't we? Play pretend or don't.
thefedfox64@reddit
So why suddenly are those people who haven't run "afoul" of ICE now suddenly having issues? What changed from their "entire lives" till recently?
SecretCoyoteMoon5@reddit
What about tribal members from Federally recognized tribes being detained by ICE? Pretty sure we're more of a legal "citizen" than anyone else. But my preps are regarding the way this government is handling anyone who doesn't fit their agenda. I am a legal citizen and am concerned with what is going on.
Flying_Madlad@reddit
See, this is the problem. People say anything that comes into their minds as long as it fits their agenda. Have Indians been deported? I can't know, because people just lie as long as it makes them look like they have political good boy points. Apparently not only this, but Trump is both too weak and too strong at the same time. Weird.
taybay462@reddit
Lmao what? You look insane saying this to a comment that was in no way "virtue signaling"
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Yeah, I get it. ZOMG, I LOST AN ELECTION! NOT EVERY ONE THINKS LIKE ME, PREP!!!!!1!
dsdlife@reddit
This is extremely essential intel to be aware of for anyone that could be targeted, which is a lot of people.
A_brief_passerby@reddit
Or even more broadly, the political climate in the country. I can increasingly imagine a world where the Trump admin overreaches in ever more egregious ways until large scale protests happen and you get things like the worst part of the BLM riots.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
Just here to note that majority of BLM protests were persistently and consistently peaceful.
Also, at least some of the violence / mayhem we saw was not committed by the protestors, but by some evil fucks intent on derailing the movement. Examples:
Man who helped ignite George Floyd riots identified as white supremacist: Police
Texas soldier convicted of BLM protest murder posted racist remarks online
Kyle Rittenhouse texts pledging to ‘murder’ shoplifters disillusion his ex-spokesperson
Ifyouwant67@reddit
You must work for the guy standing in front of the burning police station, saying the protests were peaceful. The video is out.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
He works for me.
There were lots and lots and lots of protests that were perfectly peaceful.
Apparently, something like 10% of the US population was out protesting.
There were protests in all 50 states in cities all over those states.
The protests were objecting to the murder of human beings.
And I must say tonight that a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the negro poor has worsened over the last twelve or fifteen years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice and humanity.
Ifyouwant67@reddit
Bless your heart.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
thanks
AirCanadaFoolMeOnce@reddit
Lots of peaceful protests. Also like 14k people arrested and people on my city tried to arson a government building. And a crowd marching to the jail demanding the cops release a man who had just tried to extort a restaurant with a baseball bat.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
I can't tell what point exactly you were trying to make?
There were lots and lots and lots of protests that were perfectly peaceful.

AirCanadaFoolMeOnce@reddit
Typical abuse of MLK quotes. I looked up our protest leaders. None of them voted lol. The language of the unheard. The language of those who didn’t speak and immediately resorted to absurd demands.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
In what specific way?
kingofthesofas@reddit
Yeah this is a good point while most of the people that protested did so peacefully there was a small group of people that showed up to start shit that were responsible for most of the problems.
These were three main groups I saw:
Right wing people like the Boogaloo Bois who used it as an opportunity incite violence and wanted to push it further or just discredit the protests.
Opportunistic Criminals that used it as an opportunity to loot, burn and do whatever they wanted.
Left wing radicals that much like the boogaloo Bois used the peaceful protests to try and push an extreme agenda and burn stuff down. (The takeover of part of Portland is an example of this).
Resident_Chip935@reddit
I can't prove any of this, but there always seem to be whispers about certain feds being behind certain insane as fuck and way too public left wing groups. Most would say that it's bonkers, but they they would have to be the types who completely ignore history.
RedPlaidPierogies@reddit
Five of our State representatives (MN) just cosponsored a bill to classify TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) as a mental illness, so...
Spottedinthewild@reddit
Where are you going with this?
Immortal-one@reddit
Is news like this not relevant to what to prep for?
Resident_Chip935@reddit
It is irrelevant if someone thinks it won't affect them or it's a very good thing.
swish465@reddit
I don't agree. All information is good information and relevant to day to day preparedness. Learning about advantageous things through positive posts is still bettering preparedness, even if its not local (for now). This post for example doesn't affect me at all, not my country, but it gives me an insight into escalating tensions, and in turn tells me how volatile the world may be in coming days.
Although I still feel there's a better way to aggregate the data. I think you probably don't have a problem with the information itself, just how polluting of a topic this is on the sub. Could probably get around it by adding more post flairs, then we can filter by a wider variety of topics, regions, etc.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
I agree with you 100%
Resident_Chip935@reddit
What are you prepping for? Assisting the kidnappings?
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Funny how enforcing the law is kidnapping. Illegally go to any other country on Earth and prepare to be deported because you will be. Apparently only USA must ignore their sovereignty.
No, I'm not with you. If that convinces you I'm against you, that sounds like a you problem.
No_Outlandishness50@reddit
Ok, bot. Time to power down your PC. We get it- you’re privileged 🥰
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Cool story, did you care before you lost an election? Leave. Us. Alone. Do I have to clap for you to understand? You'll get hearts when you have something to contribute. Welcome to Jamestown.
No_Outlandishness50@reddit
You need serious help.
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Not saying it was you, but abusing the "Reddit cares" system is pretty fucking callous to people who actually need help. Congrats, you get some political good boy points. Body count not withstanding.
No_Outlandishness50@reddit
I wish I could feel sorry for people like you. After a decade of watching your brains melt into Cheeto dust, it’s a no from me. Please find someone in your family who still cares about you and ask them to assist you with finding a therapist.
thefedfox64@reddit
If you are here on a student visa, why would you be here illegally? If you are here on a work visa, why would you be here illegally? If your work visa is revoked, say, in two hours, do you expect people to magically teleport at the 2 hour mark back to their home country?
If I got a work visa that doesn't expire until 2026, why would I be deported because I smoked pot 8 years ago?
Traditional-Handle83@reddit
Last I checked, most other 1st world countries actually put you in court just like the US used to do. The US no longer does any court processing when they take someone and deport them. They just send them to El Salvador or gitmo or Louisiana to be sent to one of them two. Without any trial or court or anything proving that the deport was legitimate.
People aren't even being deported back to their home country but an entirely different country altogether into a prison that has human rights violations that'd make war crimes look like child's play.
Spottedinthewild@reddit
We will rue the day that we allowed due process as constitutionality ordered to be denied to anyone within our borders.
kingofthesofas@reddit
I mean prepping for the government to try and illegally abduct people in unmarked vans sounds like exactly the sort of thing we should talk about here.
Flying_Madlad@reddit
Cool story, that's happened? Or are you making shit up to be scared of?
kingofthesofas@reddit
It has happened under Trump before and it is happening now more than once
I have a CHL and I carry. If some guys not dressed as police try to force me into an unmarked vehicle how do I know they are police? Considering I have a job that I have to worry about foreign intelligence services It would probably not go well for anyone involved. This is valid Information for preppers to be aware of.
Ifyouwant67@reddit
It's turned into a leftist bullshit propaganda site.
No_Outlandishness50@reddit
Bless your heart.
Live-Ball-1627@reddit
The country is currently falling apart, how is that not about prepping?
CandusManus@reddit
If they’re illegals, this shouldn’t shock you. They have to go back.
taybay462@reddit
But they're NOT all illegals. Trump is targeting legal citizens, and revoking legal status. Open your eyes.
CandusManus@reddit
Not a single time has this happened to citizens of the US. You’re full of it.
taybay462@reddit
https://kutv.com/news/local/trump-administration-revoking-legal-status-of-more-than-500k-migrants-previously-allowed
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ice-detention-centers-american-citizens-tourists-deported-b2722703.html
CandusManus@reddit
And? They’re deporting illegals let in under the Biden warrant principle.
taybay462@reddit
Supporting Palestine is not supporting terrorists. What a brain dead take. You realize, right, that there is a whole country of people that do not support Hamas, who do in fact deserve peace and human rights?
Oop, now I'm gonna get deported.
CandusManus@reddit
First of, Hamas has over 2/3 support in Palestine, so they’re the same thing, they still have human rights, but let’s call a spade a spade. Second, the people being deported are people supporting Hamas and its attacks. The United States can cancel a green card or permanent resident card whenever they want, if you’re going to support terrorism, yeet.
Some of them were legal, now they’re not. I’m not upset that people who openly support terrorism are being deported.
wreakxhavok@reddit
Man do you really think being against Israel is pro hamas? They are killing everyone with out discrimination after keeping the Palestinian people in basically an open air prison for years and then selling off their land.
We can be against the attacks against Israel while also being extremely upset over how Israel kills isn’t people careless (even with joy) and then the IDF literally protested for the right to rape prisoners.
You have a problem with people being against that?
CandusManus@reddit
Where did I say anti Israel? Quote the section, I said pro violence.
wreakxhavok@reddit
You said supporting Palestine is the same as supporting Israel.
I was arguing against that.
There for if someone is protesting for the Palestinian people, that does not mean they are pro Hamas.
CandusManus@reddit
My personal feeling that it's the same thing is irrelevant when you consider that the people being deported all were either involved in one of the campus take overs, or supported the violence. If you support the violence, get deported. You're here on a visa, shut up, study, work, go home.
wreakxhavok@reddit
I think if they committed a crime during the protest (because some for sure did. Not all of these people were peaceful and I do agree those need to go) but then they get due process and then deported.
However people are getting deported for sharing online opinions, writing opinion pieces in their school news paper or just being at protests.
That’s unamerican ideology. We protest against the things we don’t agree with, without the government being able to tell us we’re not allowed to.
I would even go as far to say if you’re here on visa and show an upside down American flag during a protest then deport. But we’ve crossed that line.
I don’t like government over reach, whether it be guns or what we’re allowed to protest.
A 7 year PhD student got sent home for writing an article. That’s authoritarian and an abuse of power.
I’ll give you credit in the fact that the majority of the left thinks none of these people to go. But saying stuff like “they support Palestine that’s anti American” and they should be deported is bullshit.
wreakxhavok@reddit
Sorry the same as supporting Hamas I edited my comment.
taybay462@reddit
Do you have a source that says that? Because mine doesn't say that
CandusManus@reddit
Someone had an article posted to one of my comments that listed the people being deported. They were all open supporters.
taybay462@reddit
Of hamas? I dont believe that. People conflate support of hamas with support of Palestine every day.
CandusManus@reddit
If you support the violence, you support Hamas. If you say that Oct 7th was justified, you support the violence. If you're part of a campus protest where they support it, you support Hamas.
You're here on a student visa, shut up, study.
wreakxhavok@reddit
That’s not true. This 22 cases in Chicago alone where it’s happened.
Trumps administration even states they made some mistakes. Google it and you’ll find the cases.
Now it’s a small portion for sure but it’s happening. And will continue to if we don’t have due process. We have ice making assumptions.
thefedfox64@reddit
Bet? I'll put cards on the table, if I can find 1 US citizen that was illegally deported, you have to turn 180 your views and not support any deportation without a trial in front of a judge? Sound fair?
CandusManus@reddit
Sure, if you can prove a citizen was deported I’ll acknowledge a citizen was deported.
thefedfox64@reddit
Nah, gotta have teeth to make a bet. You acknowledging a fact does nothing
CandusManus@reddit
K.
demodeus@reddit
you’re pathetic
thefedfox64@reddit
Cool
zacehuff@reddit
So is your argument that they’re not citizens or not documented permanent residents? You sound confused
CandusManus@reddit
They’re not deporting citizens. Did you forget what you wrote? How embarrassing.
zacehuff@reddit
I didn’t write that, but you implied the activists mentioned in the article were illegal aliens and not permanent residents, which is incorrect
CandusManus@reddit
No, I said they weren't citizens.
zacehuff@reddit
No you didn’t
CandusManus@reddit
Yes I did.
zacehuff@reddit
The article was about permanent residents, you implied they were not permanent residents.
CandusManus@reddit
Read. The comment.
zacehuff@reddit
It doesn’t matter, people like you will always view non citizens as illegals no matter what paperwork they have or how long they’ve been legal permanent residents.
Resident-Enthusiasm9@reddit
You wanna know what’s really strange is I live in Arizona right next to the Mexican border I just went to Mexico literally to get my teeth worked on(cheaper to go to Mexico for dental work -pro tip) Watched a bunch of kids get off the school bus (USA SIDE) cross the border (to Mexico) no problem people crossing no problem at all. I do not see a problem. Just people living their lives honest. I don’t know where all this is coming from(Mexico has been a target of discrimination before the 1900s). Maybe it’s localized in certain areas because of political shit or just the media but seriously I live in a border town and there has not been any problems or anything close to a ramp up. Pretty much the same old town
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
who is paying for their schooling, hell the bus ride alone isnt free. do you think mexico is paying for their kids to come here some how? also, dont they have schools there?
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Who cares. The who is paying for it argument is stupid anyway we should all be investing in children’s futures. That’s the cycle. Children have the most potential focus as many resources as possible on educating them to become productive members and even contributors to society and/or the world. But all anyone cares about is, “and who is paying for this”
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
clearly i and the majority of other voters care. leave us out of your charity projects. if you want to educate mexican kids go for it, hell move down there and dedicate your life to rescuing them from them selvs if you like, but leave us out of your dreams of utopia, we have our own problems.
deletable666@reddit
Educating the future generation is charity. We should make them dumber actually. It has been working great for a while now
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Also I love how y’all jump to extremes “well if you want “Mexican kids” educated then drop your whole life and go educate them. What a stupid way of looking at the world and an even stupider display of MAGAtism… lol good luck… hopefully one of these days you’ll wake up and suddenly find yourself losing sleep over the reality of the situation. But then again, as they say, ignorance is bliss, and you my friend, seem VERY… blissful….
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
and you dont love anything about me, you are filled with hate, just be honest about it, let it flow through you while you attack and name call. it really might help your cause
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Yes.. I who argue for universal education, while you argue against it… am the one filled with hate. Darth Dumbnuts
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
exactly, if you really care for everyone you would not attack me for viewing things differently than you. you scream for tolerance, but only the tolerance you want, so spare me. how about taking care of us first? do you give to the needy here? do you house homeless people? do you volunteer at the shelter?
you only want to play robbin hood with our stuff and give it to others, so you can pat your self on the back. give your stuff and leave the rest of us out of it. not that you have a choice now, your tribe took things too far and got spanked, and now all your causes are crumbling.
honestly i doubt you even beleive in your causes any ways, its just parroting the latest trendy npc leftist talking points if i had to bet.
i bet in 2 years what ever the trends are you will be all over those new ideas as if they were your own creation
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Whatever weirdo.. attack you for “viewing things differently” you’re “surrounded by Mexicans” and that’s a problem, but I’m the problem for pointing out you sound like the poster boy for racism. K dude… you are really something else, and I’ve talked to a lot of people on here…..
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
i am surrounded by mexicans in my town and i live next to canada, this was not the case 30 years ago. some of us dont want to live in mexico, it sounds like you do, again another reason for you to go there and save them
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
What are you racism incarniate? It’s like talking to the ultimate redneck here.
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
pile on the name calling and attacks. some of us are not drinking your cool aid and i thank the gods for that
gummi_girl@reddit
man its so awful how many ppl view the world like this. we as a species could be so much more and so much better. everyone could be happier and healthier and live easier lives. but too many ppl whose concerns end at themselves and their immediate families.
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
we are animals, much like a giant pack of dogs. some of us are smart, some of us are dumb, some are lazy, some are hard working. some want to steal our resources and give it to those that have nothing to offer but cheap labor and votes for the dems, not that i like the gop but i dont have a choice atm
i dont want to kill my self at work everyday and barely have enough for the bills, let alone medical expenses for a bunch of people to sneak in and get all these things for free off my taxes. its as simple as that.
many of us feel as if we are being taken advantage of. some of us build nations and infrastructure, some of us cant. its not fair to expect our efforts be stolen from us and given to others who shouldnt even be here and somehow were encouraged to sneak in against the law.
i cant understand why you dont realize this is how many of us feel and you expect us to enjoy paying for bleeding heart pet projects that we feel only hurt us.
we dont live in a utopia, we are a violent bunch fighting over resources and the peace we mostly enjoy is barely holding.
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Yeah and when has anyone here done anything about “our” problems, if you pay attention to reality, you’ll notice “our problems” are getting worse by the day, and none of the money that you all complain about is giving other people will ever make it to you. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you’ll realize just how f*cked up the world really is.
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
driving the labor cost down, while not paying taxes and getting free health care, free schools, free food etc etc when working people cant afford it was a major reason the election went the way it did.
if the left doesnt change it tune it may continue this way for a while and that will be a problem as the right gains power and shoves their nonsense down out throats next
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
No see clearly it’s not a majority, 30% is not the majority. The majority of people want to live in a world where we all care about each other. You’re actually part of what’s called the LOUD minority. Y’all just can’t help about not being decent human beings on only care about yourselves or “Murica” we are so wealthy and our general standard of living is crap. If everyone had the opportunity to go to school to learn and pursue their passions, we’d probably be living in a much better world. But please keep going on about how the “majority of voters” care only about themselves
Latter-Ad-1523@reddit
i dont know where you get your info, im guessing the woke times echo chambers. you lost the election, let the adults handle this one
Suckamanhwewhuuut@reddit
Adults? What adults? The guy who shits his pants, the alcoholic and the other sycophants? Woke, echo chambers… you sound like a sheep. And I didn’t lose an election. The candidate I voted for “didn’t win” which I highly doubt in reality, given how much Trump has called out cheating, out of nowhere. But you’re right, adults will handle the not educating children and running the government, keep feeling like you know wtf you’re even talking about lol… BAAAAAAAAAHHHH🐑

Sincerely, how is co-authoring an opinion piece in a school newspaper inciting violence. Have you read the article? I'll post it below.
When the government says you writing "GTFO" and "FAFO" is inciting violent action, I hope you keep the same energy! When they ban people taking hormones for gender affirming care like you do, and you're sent to a wellness camp. When they sell off all the forests for firewood, remind yourself that the government is allowed to use force against us, even when we're doing things that were previously acceptable and legal.
