Hey my friend and I are travelling for 35 days in Europe with lots of different places I wanted to know if people have accomodation recommendations in June - hostels or airbnbs for place
We are going to, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Amalfi Coast, Rome and Barcelona
Which places are best for private stay and which ones hostels?

You’re going to Western Europe during peak tourist season. Nothing is gonna be cheap. Everything is gonna be crowded. Prepare yourself for that now.
I’d make as many reservations as you can ASAP. Places will be fully booked soon (if they aren’t already) and as the good hostels book up you’re gonna wind up paying far too much for the shitty hostels if you wait.

Budapest and possibly Dubrovnik can get you nice private rooms for cheap, the rest, you're better off with hostels since those are HCOL places if you are on a budget.

Probably not (though they can try looking). Dubrovnik has gotten abnormally expensive for the region due to demand. Going in summer isn't going to help that.

Amsterdam and London are by far the most expensive.
Then Paris.
Then the rest.

If you’re trying to go cheap then just do hostels; you’re going to a lot of very expensive cities so don’t expect dirt cheap hostels either.

I would personally stay in hostels for all of these places. In June they will be starting to get quite expensive for the summer. You might get lucky in Budapest for a Airbnb that ends up being affordable after you split it with your friend. You’ll go broke if you don’t stay in a hostel in Amalfi coast especially. I would definitely book now for accom regardless of whether it’s an Airbnb or hostel, as prices will start to increase soon.
