My kids are playing my stuff and eating my jellybeans. I see this as a win.

I didn't really expect them to take an interest in the old things that I play with, but here we are. This is sitting next to a modern PC loaded with steam games, they still chose this.

I was going to suggest Goosebumps games but then I saw what was on top of the pc.

It's a nice idea. How old are your kids and when did you get them into gaming?
IhavegoodTuna@reddit (OP)
6&8. The first one was about 5 years old when I realized that OMG I bet this kid could actually beat a game. So I bought a Nintendo Switch and she just started beating games. I couldn't believe it. She's been advancing ever since. Now she's trying to play all of my stuff. The story is basically repeating for the younger one now too.

What game is it that they're playing?

Goosebumps: Escape from Horror land
1996
It has the full voice acting and characters on screen such as Jeff goldblum and whatnot. It's got a lot of 90s powerits even a two disc game.

Oh that sounds like a great game for them.

Sounds like an epic game! Have to get that one.

Now you can get more stuff, because it's "for the kids."

I have Oregon Trail (3?) on an old PPC mac running Macos 8. My 8-year old loves it and plays it all the time.
